The Land Rover Defender is an off-road vehicle produced under this name by the British manufacturer, Land Rover, since 1991. However, the vehicle is the direct heir of the first Land Rover that made its debut in 1948. The first prototype was built by the British automaker in 1947 and it was designed for the army. This iconic car was improved over the years and it has been known for generations as a national treasure.

Land Rover Defender TD5 Challenge Truck
Sellers Comments Land Rover Defender Challenge Truck has been rebuilt using genuine TD5 parts, vehicle is fitted with a TD5 engine, R380 Gearbox, has a TD5 bulkhead, TD5 rear tub, has full TD5 interior. The vehicle is fitted with central locking, electric windows, two alarm systems and a tracker. On the outside of the vehicle it has a full external roll cage and challenge front end. It has a 5" suspension lift with custom made training arms front and rear. The diff pans unbolt. It has front and rear ARB lockers with front Ashcroft hardened shafts and CV joints and heavy duty drive flanges. It has hardened shafts in the rear with hardened drive flanges as well. The vehicle is equipped with a Warn 8274 winch with a bowmotor 2 and Gigglepin end plate. Has 5 37" maxxis tyres on mach 5 wheels. The spare tyre is brand new and has never been on the road. It is fitted with a sump guard and a fuel tank guard and rock sliders. The engine ECU has been chipped by alive tuning so pulls really well with 37" tyres. The vehicle has LED lightbars on the front and LED lights on the rear for off roading at night. The vehicle has been well maintained. There is no rust on the bulkhead or chassis. It has just had a front diff re-build with new bearings, new front swivel bearings and seals, new rear stubb axels and hub seals and new rear brake pads. The vehicle does have scratches and some damage to the near side rear of the tub as you can see in the photos (from off roading). The vehicle has a full MOT. This vehicle is a real head turner and draws attention wherever it goes but I am now looking for something not quite as extreme. Would take a more standard 90 or 110 TD5 in part exchange and cash my way.
