Land Rover series 2A - 1969

Land Rover Series 2A, Has a series 2 style front. The land rover was purchased over 2 years back a rolling chassis with body. This was my first car at 17, i had been driving it on the road for a year, ive rebuilt it from chassis up with the help of my family. Over £4000 has been spent in total. Tax exempt Historic vehicle, 1969 registration. Interior and Body. The body and bulkhead have no corrosion. Paint work could do with touching up, otherwise in good order. Chassis is in good shape but does have a couple of patches, nothing drastic. The chassis would benefit from waxoil or painting. The dashboard was made by myself from aluminum sheet, the original will be supplied along with the other dash panels if you desire to restore. Has a Smith's Heater fitted, had a recondition matrix fitted which cost £150 to be done. Has a pair of Britpart deluxe front seats along with seat belts and two rear bench seats. All around the bulkhead and floor in the front has been sound deadened and carpeted.

AUSTIN GIPSY DIESEL LIKE 2A LAND ROVER BARN FIND

Sellers Comments - Austin gipsy 2.2 diesel 1966 ex AA then the guy i got it from had it used it and parked it in a barn has been in a dry barn for 30yrs engine starts very easy and runs well clutch works and it does drive no brakes but does come with a new set of rubber brake pipes and all the wheel cylinder seals and master cylinder kit non of the electrics work have not looked into it prob fuses ect chassis is very good and from what i can see needs very little apart from front x member body will need work as you can see in pictures but is not bad for a gipsy you are more than welcome to come and look for yourself before you buy it not haggle after because if you buy it its yours !! no v5c have rang dvla and will need a letter ect from owners club but they said the number is still good

Sellers Comments - HI I HAVE FOR SALE MY 1968 SERIES 2 LAND ROVER SADLY I HAVE NO TIME TO RESTORE HER DUE TO WORK AND OTHER COMMITMENTS SHE STARTS AND RUNS ( NEEDS BATTERY ) HAS NEW ROCKY MOUNTAIN DOOR TOPS (£295 A PAIR ). BULKHEAD NEEDS REPLACING I HAVE ONE TO GO WITH TRUCK AND ALSO A RECONDITIONED DYNAMO THE TRUCK HAS NO LEAKS WATER OR OIL IT HAS had A GALVANISED CHASSIS IN THE PAST TYRES ARE OLD AND CRACKED, BUT STILL HOLD AIR WILL NEED A TRAILER TO TAKE AWAY IT IS TAX EXEMPT.
