Its been a great landy to own. From Fishing trips to Scotland to camping with the family in Cornwall. We’ve been all over with it.
Only selling as I need to buy a new work van.
Ill be really sad to see it go.
It’s recently had all new doors fitted.

This 1996 N registered Defender was fully rebuilt 18,500 miles ago to NAS specification and fitted with a Rover 3.5 V8, 5 speed R380 manual box and a LT77 transfer box.

Finishing in arguable one of Land Rover's best colours Corris Grey metallic and complimented by matching colour coded freestyle wheels and biscuit cloth interior. 

The Defender at time of build was fitted with the full NAS spec roll cage (currently not fitted but included within the sale) and also had some aesthetical enhancements in the way of a new canvas hood, side steps, Mountney classic steering wheel, crystal headlights, and clear indicators. 

All cars on sale by Horsepower Hangar are HPi checked and mechanically inspected, so you can buy with confidence from a long established specialist.

Here is my 1996 Land Rover Defender 110 300tdi. It's a 1 owner car up until 2017, until my friend bought it and dry stored it for 6 months until I bought it.

I believe it's had a new engine from Harwoods Land Rover - runs perfectly. Short service history but I can tell it's been well maintained over the years.

It has equipped:
Air-Conditioning
5x 33" BF Goodrich Mud-Terrain tyres
Snorkel
Winch
Sun roof
6 spare wheels including bonnet and rear mounts

It has 12 months MOT no advisories, and drives wonderfully, never been off roaded.

The high mileage is due to motorway miles as the previous owner used it for business.

The vehicle is super solid, not been welded as far as I can see. A couple of the doors are starting to go however.

Everything works as it should apart from the heater system - which I believe the controls have siezed. I've not touched the winch, I am unsure if it works or not. The air conditioning works as it should.

Sellers Comments - 1997 Land Rover Defender County, forward facing puma rear seats, 2 sets of keys, side steps, alloy wheels, towbar, cd player. Overall a very nice Defender 90, lots of money spent to give it this newer interior look, very reliable and comes full serviced. Good tyres all round, drives extremely well with no issues whatsoever, high and low ratio working as it should and very smooth through the gears.

Sellers Comments - Defender 90, 300 TDI in red, 2.5l diesel, 150,000 miles Good reliable vehicle, current MOT for another 6 months to mid April 2016. Tow bar. Chekaplate. New battery, new clutch master cylinder. Needs some inside tidying, TD5 internal. Fuel gauge just stopped working, heater blower not working, will have a look if have time. Owned 4 years Condition consistent with age, some chassis rust, unsure about rear cross member, nothing obvious, bulkhead sound with small rust in one place at floor level as far as I know.
