This Land Rover was a build from 2008 to 2012 from 2.5 to full Td5 2.5 done by a local lad who's done a few projects over the years it was bought directly from Copart as a Cat C for theft paper work with oringal photos here in a folder see last photos in 2013 a close friend of mine bought the car and I was dying to own it from then in 2016 the Land Rover had a custom turbo build spec as follows later that year an other close friend bought the Land Rover and it had quite a few new parts fitted then in 2017 I purchased the defender from him after coming to a deal on my own car unfortunately with a new business venture starting its time for it to go I am in no rush and will not entertain silly offers

Land Rover Defender TD5 90. I have owned this vehicle for 15 years and reluctantly selling it due to family expansion. It has always been serviced regularly. It has low miles as i use another vehicle as my work motor. It has lots of extras including been remapped to 165bhp, larger intercooler, larger 3 inch griffin exhaust, 22 inch stormer alloy wheels with 60mm wheel adaptors, lowered suspension, LED lights, tinted windows etc. With having to use the 60mm wheel adaptors, so the range rover alloys would fit; it meant the wheels protruded further than the body. I didn't want to use the screw on type wider wheel arches, so decided to make my own out of plastic and fibreglass, making these arches one of a kind and a truly unique Land Rover. It has 12 months mot and has recently had new brake discs and pads, plus a full service. It had a full nut and bolt rebuilt onto a galvanised chassis in 2008 along with a custom respray. ou are looking at a Land Rover Defender 90 Td5 Station wagon, first registered on 04/09/2002.

 It is in excellent condition throughout. The wax oiled chassis is corrosion 

free and has never been welded/repaired. 

The bulkhead and rear cross member are both in excellent condition. 

The bodywork is very good with some minimal age related marks and the interior is exceptionally clean and tidy. In 2012 it was professionally converted to an automatic transmission making it a lovely lazy drive around town an superb 80mph plus motorway cruiser. It has been very well maintained from new and comes with a fully stamped up service history (13 stamps in total) and a detailed service printout. The vehicle is has a MOT until May 2018 with no advisories and is ready to drive away.

Land Rover Defender TD5 1999 142000 miles long history from new.
This is my overland vehicle I pretty much built for my needs and you can see a lot of content on this at my YouTube channel (Alex Ednie)
I have took great care of this vehicle and spent a lot of time money to get it to my standards. When your into overlanding and driving remote locations you really can't afford to have things keep breaking on you. Yes you can carry spares but for me especially if it's a fishing expedition I would not want to be held up with a wheel bearing or worse an engine fault. So for that reason I have replace most things that would let you down and kept the engine above average running wise. So what have I done.
Engine...
Apart from regular servicing of oil and filters etc (diesel filters every 3000 due to poor quality fuels abroad) I have improved the motors running ability.
1.Uprated cylinder head - original was prone to cracking warping and oil leaks through the wiring loom connector leading to ecu damage.
2.Remapped , egr removed and tuned - This gives you better fuel consumption and a real power delivery on hills it's amazing with a full load on.
On top of that you have...

Water pump
Fan belt
All service consumables
Clutch slave
Clutch master
Diesel pressure regulator
Gear oil
Axle oil
Prop bearings front to rear
Transfer box oil

Then for steering components etc
All track rods replaced
Drop arm and ball joint replaced
Wheel bearings replaced (all timkin)
(I use either original parts or quality patterned as generally if it's cheap with parts it's crap)
Vented front upgrade breaks new pads rear
Terrafirma steering damper
Updated shocks and springs ( hard ride for heavy weighted loaded etc roof rack would recommend a change but up to new owner)
Vehicle chassis has had patches and repairs etc it has had a rear crossmember custom built which makes it protrude rear of vehicle for step and then double wheel carrier swing away all custom built. Chassis regularly serviced with protection I'd say in my opinion polyurethane bushes would be the next mod.
Mot was just done by I highly respectable car , bus and truck garage test centre. Quite strict to say the least but that's how it should be in my eyes as it's a safety check after all. No advisories or recommendations and of course a pass.
Tyres are BFG 315/75/16 they are the older type mud terrain but in good condition with about 40 percent wear. All tyres wheels come in the sale.
Vehicle has a custom drop down foot tent allowing you to sleep 2 people in the rear without dropping down front seats an ideal 2 person expedition vehicle camper.
Also we have a howling moon awning in excellent condition.
Custom jerry can side mount holders and brush bars also fitted.Rack comes with vehicle and everything you see in the pictures. Custom rock sliders.
Various lead lights fitted around the vehicle all controlled from the raptor dash switch board. This includes a light bar mounted in the bull bar. Also in the raptor is USB points and cigarette lighter style sockets. Then you have your voltage meter , CD BT stereo along side. Also fitted is a 2000w inverter. In the rear is a custom built bench seat one side and a flip down forward facing the other side. Front box could b removed and 3rd seat put in seat belt is still there. Also stainless seat box sides were fitted. Battery is a new yasau and has a battery cut off switch key and a custom fitted power socket on seat box to plug in jumper cables or for powering aux items (I used for firing up a diesel generator at a yard) Has long range am fm antenna fitted plus your standard cab antenna and cb however cb antenna needs attention.
Various chequer plate around the vehicle. Doors are good and close as should but a drivers door seal would be a good next job on the list. Interior is very clean and tidy with upgrade leather bucket seats and risers, steel cubby box along with overhead console for speaker and cb. Mats and trim in Very good condition. We travel a lot but have done so respecting our Defender and for that reasons we have had little problems. Defender has raptor painted roof and rear panels.
Im selling as we need a bigger vehicle maybe a 110 130 so I can get my family more involved I have 4 kids and it's a bit tight!😀
I'd like a quick sale as I have not posted on my YouTube channel for a while and am keen to get stuck into a new season of overland peeping a vehicle. Comes with a folder of history set of 2 keys original and for ignition and all doors. Log book and the original from dealer key fob.
