Please note, this is a 27-year-old Defender; the bodywork has minor blemishes that can be seen on the photos however mechanically it's absolutely sound. Starts first time, every time, and drives superbly.  The chassis and rear cross member are in good condition.

Landrover Defender 90 200TDI 1991

Sellers Comments - A clean and mechanically sound 1991 Defender 200TDI which was rebuilt on a galvanised chassis by its former owner who was an engineer. I bought this defender in june 2016, ran it for a while then sorted it and it has been tucked up in my workshop since, getting a run every once in a while. There has been a considerable amount of work and money spent on it, here is a list of work carried out; polly bushed underneath, heavy duty yellow springs front and rear with STD pro comp shockers fitted all round, lifting it 2 inches, rock sliders fitted, front diff guard, snorkel, external roll cage, flaired wheel arches, fully chequer plated floor inside front and rear, new wheels with as new off road tyres and a spare mounted on the rear, full serviced, including gear oil and a new flange fitted on transfer box, cd player and speakers fitted, new starter motor fitted in August 2017, seat box replaced with chequer plate box, tow bar and new support bar fitted with trailer plug ready for towing and fitted with HID head light bulbs. The defender also comes with a few spare parts, I have a WARN 900ti winch with new wire rope, rear mud flaps, 2 pedal boxes, rear bench seats, spare front springs, winch wire roller for bumper and a rear step. I also have receipts for a lot of these parts and work carried out on the vehicle in the past. The only main advisory was the drivers side floorpan which had a bit of corrosion, I have addressed this by cutting out the corrosion welding in a new piece, seem sealing it and undercoating the outside of the repair. The Engine runs well and pulls well. Excellent runner, and drives well. Taxed until April 2018 MOT until July 2018 Recent work - Significant welding to chassis - New seats in back - New steering wheel - Gearbox professionally reconditioned (gearbox taken out and repaired selectors, expensive job & changes gear really well now) Please not that the bulkheads will need replacing (as shown in photos), so that will be the next job to do.

1991 LAND ROVER DEFENDER 110 EX MOD

Ex-mod Landrover Defender 110 2.5n/an Up for auction is my defender which is no longer practical for what I need. It has been my daily transport for the last 2 years and has been serviced annually and has had the cam belt and a second-hand injector pump fitted as the old one was leaking and a new fuel tank sender unit was fitted with new glow plugs and relay, so it starts on the button regardless of cold weather. It's had a new complete rear cross member fitted for the mot, and the canvas was patched as it had a few small holes and was treated with fabsil. Iv fitted a usb charger and cigarette point , these blend in well with the military dash and has three seats upfront and 2 bench seats in the rear with lap belts. On the id tag on the seat box it states it's a winterised model defender , it was changed from a pickup to a canvas top by the previous owner and has full type doors and not the split type ones. I have removed the viscous fan as it very rearly gets warm and I seem to think it drives better with it of as it doesn't have a great deal of power anway. It has no power steering and will sit at 60mph but is pretty noisy so better at 50mph as its still got the military 1.6 transfer box on. All tyres are matching Goodyear g90's that have lots of tread , the spare is a Michelin xzl and has a few cracks but serviceable as a spare. It also has tubular front suspension turrets , pro comp shock absorbers and genuine Landrover folding side steps and an ardcase pedal lock box. The land rover has covered 100663 km and has no oil leaks. Overall this is a mechanical sound and structural ex mod 110 that will sadly be missed by me and the kids but I'm in need of a van . The v5 is present but Iv misplaced the mot which expires 15 January 2017.
