Land Rover Series 3 V6 Galvanised chassis

Sellers Comments Built on a Galvanised chassis with a 2.8 V6 engine mated to a 5 speed LT77 gearbox. Gearbox has an Ashcroft conversion to mate the original transfer box to the LT77 maintaining the series 3 features and drive ratios with an extra gear. Engine is a 2.8 V6 from a Granada giving about 140 bhp simulare to the old 3.5 V8 which propels this to 70 quite quickly for an old girl. Bulkhead has been repaired with new foot wells and A pillars and is now in good condition. Chassis is Galvanised looking about 17years ago but is still in perfect condition. Rest of the body is in good condition but is not perfectly straight this car has been used in trials but is not badly damaged. Wheels are Wolf wheels with Kumo mud tyres spare is the same. Interior is as you would expect but with Defender seats. The Landrover drives well with good acceleration and top speed but please don't expect modern car handling this is a 35 YO Landrover. The chassis has not been modified so a return to factory spec in the future could easily be achieved. MOT until Feb 2018

Land Rover Series 2a, 88", 3.0 V6 - Overdrive, New Canvas 1970 - Roll Cage.

It has a Ford Essex 3.0 V6 engine inside which has been serviced regularly and also has a new (last year) K&N air filter on it. The alternator, water pump, fuel pump & rocker cover gaskets on it are 2 years old. Fuel hoses are 1 year old. It starts and drives well and has a switch under bonnet for extra security.
