Sellers Comments -You are looking at a very desirable and collectable limited edition Land Rover Defender 110 Td5 Tombraider, first registered on 10th January 2002. It has had just 3 Former keepers and has been well maintained by its enthusiast owners. The chassis, bulkhead and rear cross member are all very good and strong. The bodywork and paintwork are both in excellent condition and the interior is clean and tidy. It starts on the button and drives superbly with no issues. It has a long mot until March next year and has a fistful on invoices etc for service work carried out. It has just been treated to a brand new set of Sawtooth alloys and a set of 5 BF Goodrich tyres. Any limited edition Defender is increasing steadily in price at present. Defender 90 Tomb Raider- For Sale - Location Newport

This Tomb Raider does require some tidying work and had some retro fitted parts, but all the originals are included in the sale. Drives spot on.

Engine- Stage 1 tune with large inter cooler and silicone hoses. New cylinder head and turbo 10,000 miles ago

 Transmission- New clutch 5,000 miles ago. RED BOOSTER clutch servo fitted, giving a finger light clutch pedal.

Suspension- Old Man Emu standard height and rate springs,Terrafirma pro-sport long travel shocks. Gwyn Lewis front shock turrets. Poly bushes all round.

Bodywork- Front doors are solid but have some dents and scratches. Rear door is new with a galvanised frame. The original roofrack has been stripped back to bare metal. galvanised and powder coated. Original side steps included but tubes are very rusted. but new ones could be fabricated quite easily using new tube and original brackets and tread plate. Heated Mirrors 

Interior- Exmoor Trim premium seats with risers on the drivers seat to increase legroom, Original seats are included 

Wheels and tyres- Currently on non original Freestyle alloys with 235/85x16 BFG all terrain tyres, half worn. Original Boost alloys included with 265/75 x 16 BFG Mud terrain tyres pretty much worn out and wheels need a refurbish.

To sum up, this is a rare original Tomb Raider 90 that is honest and would make an excellent rolling restoration that will only become rarer and more valuable. Genuine reason for sale.

Where do I start with this incredible, fully restored, totally original Land Rover Defender 90?

Simply put this is a COLLECTOR Quality TOMB RAIDER as manufactured by Land Rover themselves and is not an after market modified car.

It has a Full Service History from new (it has been owned by me for the past 10 years) and there has been no expense spared on this car. I have spent around £25,000 maintaining the car and the most recent bill was a phenomenal £17,000; a full restoration and rebuild that took a painstaking 3 years.

It is as close to mint as you can get and almost too good to drive hence why I am selling it. It has done 50 miles since it was restored and I can provide any interested parties a full photographic history of the rebuild by an award winning Malton car restorer.

I would prefer a cash sale however I would consider a low mileage Discovery 4 Luxury, Range Rover Sport HSE or Range Rover exchange option.

This car will be a serious collectors item shortly so if you want what I believe to be the best one currently available it must be viewed.

Aircon Heated front screen Warn winch Fully poly bushed Just had full service New dampers New brakes Wheel just been refurbished Winch just been serviced New twin batteries with split charge system Reverse camera Rear NAS step/bumper Clifford Alarm with remote central locking Outside the vehicle is clean, but practically usable condition. It does have minor bumps and scrapes but nothing significant. Genuine roof rack which again is in excellent order. Genuine roof lights fitted. Inside the vehicle the interior cloth is original and clean. It is quite rare to have all of the original seats. The passenger seat base does however have a small tear as pictured.
