The Land Rover Defender is an off-road vehicle produced under this name by the British manufacturer, Land Rover, since 1991. However, the vehicle is the direct heir of the first Land Rover that made its debut in 1948. The first prototype was built by the British automaker in 1947 and it was designed for the army. This iconic car was improved over the years and it has been known for generations as a national treasure.

Landover 110 Pick up. 139,578 miles. Registered in 1990. Full MOT as of last week until Feb 2018. Currently on a SORN. No Tax
We have owned this Landrover since Feb 2004, it has no end of money spent on it over the years as we used it on our farm, so we needed it tip top all the time.
It has had: replacement 200TDi engine approx. 7 years ago (not disco engine, proper 200 TDi defender engine fitted by Landrover people in Rhyl),
new fuel tank, rear cross member, halogen headlamp conversion, side steps (Genuine Landrover), shock absorbers, etc etc,
anything it needed .......was fitted.
It had newer Defender seats put in it, new canvas hood last year, new Avon tyre on the bonnet. Other 3 Avon tyres recently fitted, but the odd Green wheel is a military Michelin tyre, fully legal.
It has a PTO driven winch, very powerful of course ! Adjustable towbar fitted. Salisbury rear diff. It's an ex-National Trust vehicle.
It has been welded on the outriggers this time for MOT & last year had a new rear one fitted, no issues with bulkhead since we have owned it.
Lots spent last year for MOT, receipt for this, lots of old MOT's too. V5 present.
Drives well, not bad on fuel with the TDi engine in it.
It was originally a 2.5 Turbo engine in it, if you want that too? .......its yours.

1990 LAND ROVER 90 Defender Black - Location - Lewes
Reconditioned engine fitted in 2013 with approximately 5000miles since being
fitted by our local garage, taxed until August 2015, drives really nicely and
has good body work for the year. Starts every time first time. Reluctant sale
