The Land Rover Defender is an off-road vehicle produced under this name by the British manufacturer, Land Rover, since 1991. However, the vehicle is the direct heir of the first Land Rover that made its debut in 1948. The first prototype was built by the British automaker in 1947 and it was designed for the army. This iconic car was improved over the years and it has been known for generations as a national treasure.

Sellers Comments - You are looking at our latest brand new nut and bolt rebuild! An X Tech Edition Land Rover Defender 90 300 Tdi. This superb Defender needs to be viewed to be fully appreciated. Please excuse the quality of the photos that really just don't do this fabulous Defender justice. It was pouring down with rain and the skies looked like the world was going to end!! It is actually lighter than it shows in the pics. It started life in 1997 as an ordinary Defender 90 300 Tdi. It had 2 former keepers and was well maintained throughout its life. Earlier this year it was totally stripped down and rebuilt on a brand new Marsland ( the best ) chassis. Brand new heavy duty suspension was fitted and off course every bush was replaced. All new brake callipers were fitted including discs, pads, pipes and flexi hoses. A new radiator, fuel tank, steering damper and exhaust was fitted along with a new clutch. All three doors, handles and locks were replaced along with front wings etc. A full towbar with electrics was added and a new interior was fitted including carpets seats, head lining, rear mat, privacy glass, cd/tuner, steering wheel, sound deadening kit etc etc. A puma bonnet was fitted along with an upgraded SVX front end and LED lights. Saw tooth alloy wheels with as new General Grabber tyres have also been fitted. It is finished off with in Land Rover Firenza red with Santorini black bonnet, roof and alloys. It then had a full service including all fluids & filters, replacement diesel pump, replacement timing belt, heater plugs etc. The result is a better than new Defender 90 300 Tdi that will last somebody forever! Being the much sought after 300 Tdi on a galvanised chassis, it will not decrease in value in fact it should actually increase! Bear in mind that rear windows ( tinted if required ), rear seats and belts can be fitted for around £500 if required. If you have any questions or wish to reserve this Defender.
