The Land Rover Defender is an off-road vehicle produced under this name by the British manufacturer, Land Rover, since 1991. However, the vehicle is the direct heir of the first Land Rover that made its debut in 1948. The first prototype was built by the British automaker in 1947 and it was designed for the army. This iconic car was improved over the years and it has been known for generations as a national treasure.

Sellers Comments - For sale: 1952 Land Rover Series One 80 inch Minerva (LHD). One of the batch provided to the Belgium Military as CKD-vehicles. This is a genuine barn find and a rare unmolested example, ready for re-commissioning or restoration. It has the original red military engine, the 2 litre Land Rover Series One Siamese bore, complete with all original running gear. Great original interior, seats and dash. It comes complete with original Belgium paperwork, so you can request an age related UK registration from DVLA, once recommissioned and UK road legal. A rare find and a great investment opportunity, with early Series One LRs in such high demand. Can be viewed in Kent from Monday 11th April by appointment only. 10% deposit to be paid by PayPal within 24 hours of winning bid. Payment then in cash or via bank transfer.
