Land Rover Series 3 Spares or Repair
Sellers Comments - Here we have my characterful old Ex Military Series 3 Land Rover. I bought it back in April with intentions of putting in back on the road. It's been in a dry barn since the day I got it. He Runs and Drives with all 5 gears working well (including Reverse) , no overdrive though. Believed to be ex RAF it was released in 2001 with a green and black paint scheme. I did a range of work on the Landy, so did a couple of guys who work for us. Together we Welded two new front bulkhead out riggers left and right, fixed all the electrics, put in a new brake master cylinder and then bled them. Got the 2 1/4lt petrol running sweet. Then rubbed down the body (hence why it looks like it does) ready for painting. Which leaves us where we are to date. I have more pictures of other parts I have like the Top of left side door, all new bulbs and lens caps, new front fuel tank outrigger right side. Needs a new paint job (not necessary) and a few other little things like wing mirrors and a new wiper motor (I have new wiper blades) and should pass an MOT - Don't hold me to it. Overall, it runs and drives nicely .Underneath is all good, apart from driver side foot well where holes are starting to appear but overall Is a good little classic. LRO Magazine even say they're going up in price! Now's your chance to get a nice easy project for the summer. Will Need to be trailered away. No Tax or MOT# Will put up more photos tonight 5/01/16 V5 Present and in my name. Cash on Collection £1695.00 ONO Viewings Welcome
