Hello, I am selling my much loved Defender.  Unfortunately it's time for it to go.  I have owned the vehicle for just under 7 years.  As you would expect the condition of the defender is what you would expect from a well used 2002 defender, with minor dents, worn upholstery and rust spot.  It's a defender  that has done 181000 miles.  Please look at the photos. I have tried to get as much detail as I can.  I can also supply more photos on request.   The vehicle is currently out of MOT which ended December 2021.  So have been declared SORN. The defender drives well. Had a full break rebuild a 2 years ago.  It has side step, Sony Radio CD player, Nudge Bar, Tow Bar, Central Locking, Tinted windows in the back, Land rover rear liner, Electric Windows,  Day running lights.  The vehicle is in Wootton Bedford. For viewing and collection purposes.  I an selling the vehicle as is and offer no warranty.   As I am a private seller.

Particularly rare as this late 1993 model was one of the last 200s to be made meaning it has the upgraded body spec of the 300, but the engine and gearbox of the 200.... arguably the best combination of any Defender 90. 155,000 Miles since new. Also a very capable towing vehicle with an adjustable tow bar and hook up. Front winch with remote control and galvanised bumper attachment rings. Very minor damage to rear door in a Cat N (Non-Structual damage) insurance settlement gave the recent opportunity for an extensive refurbishment and upgrade. Includes galvanised chassis and galvanised bulkhead. New interior fully lined with thermal soundproofing and new black carpeting throughout. Front & rear new Exmoor Trim XS 1/2 Leather Seats (which have been under seat covers since new), new matching leather steering wheel, all new seat belts. Original dashboard with working analogue clock, extra front roof shelf with discretely fitted pioneer Head Unit CD Tuner with Bluetooth, USB DAB/DAB+ and Spotify with Apple iOS & Android connectivity and Bluetooth handsfree phone. Discretly fitted to centre bulkhead behind the front seats Pioneer 1200 WATT Amplifier powering 4 x 13cm 120 Watt Focal PC130 2 way coaxial speakers (discretely mounted in custom enclosures 2 front, 2 rear) - also mounted at the centre of the car, on bulkhead behind front seats and on sound baffling to prevent reverb a Phase 300W Active Subwoofer (with fully adjustable dial located in the front). New Thatcham approved alarm, immobiliser with 2 fobs. Professionally installed, Thatcham accredited, monitored tracker fitted and active. Recon gearbox with only a few thousand miles use, all new: Cam belt, Turbo kit, steering box, fuel tank & sender, upgraded dampers/shocks for better performance and smoother ride, snorkel, side steps, rear step, mud guards, all seals, door skins, door locks (two sets of keys), custom colour matt bronze saw tooth alloys, little used Cooper SST Discoverer Tyres (great off road, surprisingly good on the road), new Massai opening panoramic side and rear quarter windows , new tinted Alpine roof windows, new rear heated window. New LED light kit all round. New 4 x front, twin, adjustable angle Lazer Lights on roof and 1 x moveable Lazer Work light on rear with rear switch. The Lazer lights on roof are wired with a dashboard switch to give the option to operate them on or off with high beam - they give an incredibly bright, high angle light and the bright LED headlight kit gives a good low angle. The roof lights will be fitted to a light bar as the roof rack and rear ladder is not included in the sale. Complete respray in Mini Moonwalk Grey, matt black checker board painting on sills, door steps and protection over front wings. Very well looked after with extensive service history back to the original manuals. Just had a service and MOT. Low road tax. 7 seater commercial vehicle - rear seats fold up to free up loadspace. Private number matching date of registration included in the sale. For the last 6 years this car has belonged to a photographer of high-end property and estates just used for a small selection of jobs and is being sold by a company so 20% VAT is included - a VAT invoice will be issued with the sale.
