Particularly rare as this late 1993 model was one of the last 200s to be made meaning it has the upgraded body spec of the 300, but the engine and gearbox of the 200.... arguably the best combination of any Defender 90. 155,000 Miles since new. Sellers Comments - Here we have our family owned Landcover Defender 2.5 TDI 300TDI It was built in March 1997 The millage is 221,000 miles but has a Reconditioned engine fitted 70,000 miles ago from Landrover. I have all the recipes for this. Used all its life as a car not as a farmers vehicle and its condition is very good and completely original . Had recently fitted in the last 12 months New (5 ) Saw Tooth alloys and Tyres costing £1500 New Headlamps these were very expensive around £700 these have DRL's New front bumper plus driving lights fitted New alternator and Battery Full service done 2 months New glow plugs last year New exhaust system New rear Landcover Mudflaps Full set of Genuine LandRover door seals Also I have a massive history file with a very documented service history and receipts for all parts replaced over the years 3 Years ago had the rear crossmember (chassis section ) fitted plus a new rear door and new swinging arm assembly for spare wheel this cost around £3000.00 from memory got the recipes for this . Also New brake discs and pads on all 4 wheels. We are the 3rd owners from new and we have looked after the Landcover and replaced anything it needed when it needed it . The front lights are extremely bright and made a massive difference to the Original Landcover units that were fitted , Starts and drives with no faults and is very economical to run returning around 30 MPG and ,ore on a run. I do also have rear bench seats that fit in the rear plus it has already fitted all the seat belts for this around 6 . Also I have its original Full length Land rover Roof rack that goes with the sale It is 25 years old so does have signs of wear and tear, the bottoms of the door have a bit of corrosion etc. A few dents on the doors please look at pictures . I have 3 sets of keys , 2 sets have the Landrover remote key fobs all works perfectly  

Land Rover Defender 90 Tomb Raider very original daily driver with upgrades 117600 miles, chipped, smile generator, LEDs and more

Sellers Comments - Huge amount spent bringing this up to date. First up needs a new paint job but fundamentally sorted. In last few years have done the following: new headlining, new braking system, stops brilliantly, new standard suspension, removed 2” lift and drives much smoother, removed tree sliders but available separately if required, new windscreen and rubber, new windscreen aluminium brackets, new led Wipac lights all round, new head unit with reverse camera, stainless bolts on vents, repainted and rust treated roof rack with all new bolts, removed window guards, also available separately, new rear ladder, new led dash lights in green. Comes on original wheels with spare and rear door carrying bracket included but removed for an easy life and extra fuel economy lol. Winch works but I’ve never had the chance to use it unfortunately. Has been chipped, goes fabulously and has a straight through mid-pipe so sounds fantastic too. I was doing this up on a rolling resto basis but purchase of the other grail 90 on my list (50th v8) forces me to get rid of the Tomb Raider. , Main areas for finishing are paint, you can see I have removed the gunk where the roof rack support was bubbling the paint on the ally wings in preparation. Also gearbox or transfer box has a whine when off acceleration. Not bothered me enough to replace as I would probably do it at the same time as a chassis swap in 5 to 10 years. Chassis itself is all fine but obviously original so will need replacing eventually. Front doors have creases where previous owner must have enjoyed it off road but again, not bothered me as I like to enjoy the special vehicle without worrying about it too much. Rear door bottom does have corrosion and a crack from carrying the heavy wheel which is common and easy to replace. Also note the really coveted tyres that were limited to the forestry commission and are probably worth over 1k on their own. In summary a great start point for a long term keeper that can be used every day as I have. Serviced at local garage since my ownership. Grey, £21,000

1996 Landrover Defender 110 New Galvanized Bulkhead Overland Camper

This is a listing for Squid; a 1996 Landover Defender 110 300TDI 3 Door with a solid chassis and a brand new galvanised bulkhead. 11 months MOT. 

Squid started life as commercial vehicle for a power company. She was released into the wild in 2007 and then changed hands again in 2009. This owner (to the best of my knowledge) rebuilt her (1000’s in receipts) and took her adventuring around morocco. During this ownership she received the overhaul to her gearbox/ drive train.

She changed hands again in the early 2010’s when she was converted into an all-terrain rugged camping/tourer. The back of her was stripped out and a sleeping platform, fridge, stove, solar panels (and requisite electronics installed), storage lockers, insulation fitted and awnings fitted. In this guise she enjoyed various trips around the Uk and Europe at festivals and overnight stays. It was at this time I her life that she had the Turner Engineering LDF500180 Performance 300TDI Cylinder Head fitted.

In 2018 she came into my ownership and the care and attention to her has continued. In the past 3 years she has received new exhaust, brakes (pads and rotors), alternator, various belts, bulbs and various other items to keep her running smoothly. The decision was made last year to have bulk head replaced. A new galvanised bulkhead was fabricated and fitted along with a brand new set of side lockers (informed that last in stock at the time and any new ones would have to be custom built). She had enjoyed various trips up and down the country to festivals, leafy lanes of wales and overnight stays.

She has been well looked after mechanically with some well thought out touches making life that little bit easier. Would not hesitate to drive her to Scotland tomorrow; happily sit at 60/65 on a long run. She handles likes a champ and has never let me down. Ring binder full of receipts and various invoices of work carried out over the years. She has an MOT until April 2022.

She is sold as seen so would highly recommend coming to view/test drive (proof of insurance otherwise I can take you out in her). Any inspection welcome as. This is my pride and joy and has been for the last 5 years with no expense spared, she needs to go to a new home who will love her as much as we have as a family.

The engine has been rebuilt 3 years ago ,clutch at the same time ,gearbox and transfer box serviced along with diffs.

Its fully poly bushed, wide angle prop on the front with a 3 inch lift to compensate for the winch and front bumper ,it has rear cranked arms and a 2 inch lift (it sits level)

The underside side has been wire brushed ,primed and stone chipped, the body is finished in raptor for the extra protection, some Landy fans don't like it but I do.

All tyres are good, plenty of tread on them

All the lights are smoked led ,light bar and spots on the roof rack ,swing away spare wheel carrier, standard interior with cubby box.
