2002 Land Rover Defender TD5 "County" Station Wagon.

Solid, honest car with some nice modifications both mechanically and cosmetically.

Just over 92k miles, MOT due in early January 2020. Last MOT it needed a replacement seat belt due to fraying, and a driveshaft boot replacing.

Runs very well, minor rust. Low and High ratios run fine, gears are solid, clutch feels good.

This has the rare factory air conditioning, which was regassed last year. Interior has been upgraded with Exmoor Trim vinyl seats which are really comfortable, and easy to keep clean and tidy. Front seats have the heating mats, but these need a bit of wiring to get connected. Rear seats are the folding side-facing ones. Floor mats and rear load mat.

New headliner due to the old one slumping.

Other updates;

Upgraded stereo with front and rear speakers, USB, etc.
Steel wheels with good condition Mud Terrain tyres. Spare is the original Land Rover unit (never used).
Uprated brake discs and pads.
Chequer plate all over.

Land Rover Defender 110 Double Cab 2007 2.4ltr Puma

Here we have my 57 plate Defender Double Cab for sale in grey with back detailing. 2.4ltr  diesel "Puma" engine with a 6 speed gearbox so the best engine for road driving and actually holds comfortably on the motorway compared to the other variants!

The car has had several tasteful upgrades including:

Had a full major service from a specialist land rover garage earlier in the year with over £1300 spent on everything it could need including new rear shocks, brake pads and rear shafts. Also just had the steering couplers replaced so no loose steering like you find in a lot of other Defenders! Paperwork and receipts for all of this. Had a recent new clutch and flywheel too.

As you can see from the photos this is a stunning car, it seems to get a lot of admiration where ever I drive it. Mechanically sound, drives superbly and is a very good example of this iconic car.

Sellers Comments -Selling my G4 Ltd Edition Defender ,i'm just not having time to enjoy her . G4 TDV Plate (TD5) Tastefully modified with only steering wheel and Blindo alloys and Goodrich tyres (£1600) apart from that all left original as factory 150,000 miles , pulls and drives very well with no issues. MOT'd until February 2020 (with no advisories ) all brakes and lines replaced She is in very good condition for her age but has a small amount of corrosion on lower corner of doors and very very small amounts on other panels and rear cross member but a very good example of a future classic , less and less about now With a small amount of time and money she could be returned to perfect condition. • If you have got this far I am sure you will know all about them 
• They were completely rebuilt in 2005 at a rumoured cost to the tax payer of £52000 it was basically fit new land rover to armoured rear body
• This one did 32000 km and was moth balled as they were totally unfit for propose
• Stunning show truck awesome to drive
• If you dont like being noticed this is not the landy for you, keep looking !!
• I bought this and another for a film job, which is long since finished
• its one of the smartest i have seen It had been either repainted prior to me having it or must have refurbished before release. It is currently unregistered but ready for mot I can sort registration for an extra £500
• All glass has been replaced its the right thickness but IS NOT bullet proof those that have not been replaced will be cloudy and will need replacing. 
• Drives A1, starts instantly, AC I think works
• I can get it delivered @£1.70 it weights 3050kg but can obviously be driven on a car licence (although if you are post 1999 pass you may need to look in to it)

Sellers Comments -You are looking at a very desirable and collectable limited edition Land Rover Defender 110 Td5 Tombraider, first registered on 10th January 2002. It has had just 3 Former keepers and has been well maintained by its enthusiast owners. The chassis, bulkhead and rear cross member are all very good and strong. The bodywork and paintwork are both in excellent condition and the interior is clean and tidy. It starts on the button and drives superbly with no issues. It has a long mot until March next year and has a fistful on invoices etc for service work carried out. It has just been treated to a brand new set of Sawtooth alloys and a set of 5 BF Goodrich tyres. Any limited edition Defender is increasing steadily in price at present. This particular one is one hell of a bargain for somebody and is priced to sell. Grab it while you can, there won't be another at this price anywhere.
