Chassis needs oil/paint as missed last season, since an attempted theft at Billing off-road show drivers door needs reinforcing and door liners have been removed, 2 front lights have stopped working, window rubbers need replacing, minimal use off-roading, steering guard was to be replaced (needs fitting). Conniston green, checker-plate in places painted orange. Front winch stopped working, possibly solenoid.

This has been my everyday working vehicle but ill-health forces sale with great sadness.

Probably loads of extra things that i have missed i recommend viewing if your interested. 

i was using this truck as my daily up until this month, i may well use it again if it doesn't sell. everything works like the radio/heater/handbrake/lights etc. it is a little wallowy on the road as the suspension is quite soft but nothing you wouldn't expect, naturally the tyres are horrendously loud also. 

mechanically the truck is 100% had several new parts for the MOT ball joints/wheel bearings etc etc

the only faults i no off is slight oil leak from auto gearbox (sump gasket)

slight oil leaks from front axle from diff pinion seal & one half shaft seal.

body is hand painted green but looks ok in my opinion, body work has a few dents but again nothing too bad considering where this truck will take you. the full tubular body certainly helps keep you from damage.

this truck is priced fairly considering 4k gets you a standard 90, without a galv chassis (£1500 to buy £3000 if you want it fitted). if i simply unbolted the cage, winches & wheels thats 2k and you still have a modified 90 with a galv chassis at the same price as a rot box.

Arriving soon is this rather nice Land Rover Defender 90 Td5 County, first registered in March 2000. It is in good condition throughout. The chassis, bulkhead and newly replaced rear cross member are all good and solid. The bodywork is good and looks very presentable in its gloss black paintwork and the interior is clean and tidy. It starts on the button and drives very well indeed with no issues. Good strong engine and gearbox, everything operates as it should do and its ready to go

Landrover 90 Defender TD5 County - Red - 1999

For Sale is my Defender 90 TD5 which has a full service history and Bills for nearly what I’m asking for it including a bill for £2000 for a reconditioned gearbox, clutch and Flywheel a couple of years ago. The Landy drives really nice I came back from Devon in it yesterday and it didn’t miss a beat.  I bought this cause I love them and this one is ripe for a total spruce up where it would be worth easily double what I’m asking.  However it needs welding on a the Chassis before it’s next mot is due in late December this year.  Because of my health I can no longer do this type of work so reluctantly I’m going to let somebody else make it beautiful again. It has 5 good tyres alloys, etc etc only has 5 seats Currently as two of the back seats are not there. Starts great and drives beautiful with lovely tight gearbox and Steering.  If you can do your own maintenance (welding) it’s a gift. I have had a quote today for £1200 to replace the whole of the rear chassis by a specialist which is what I intend to do if nobody snaps it up, as I am a perfectionist but anyone with basic welding knowledge could easily fix it.
