Very rare Land Rover defender it’s the very last of the TD5  2007 it the year. in late 2006 Land Rover changed the engine to the 2.4 transit engine and the car to a 4 seater and they are not desirable as the TD5 . Where do I start with this incredible, fully restored, totally original Land Rover Defender 90?

Simply put this is a COLLECTOR Quality TOMB RAIDER as manufactured by Land Rover themselves and is not an after market modified car.

It has a Full Service History from new (it has been owned by me for the past 10 years) and there has been no expense spared on this car. I have spent around £25,000 maintaining the car and the most recent bill was a phenomenal £17,000; a full restoration and rebuild that took a painstaking 3 years.

It is as close to mint as you can get and almost too good to drive hence why I am selling it. It has done 50 miles since it was restored and I can provide any interested parties a full photographic history of the rebuild by an award winning Malton car restorer.

I would prefer a cash sale however I would consider a low mileage Discovery 4 Luxury, Range Rover Sport HSE or Range Rover exchange option.

This car will be a serious collectors item shortly so if you want what I believe to be the best one currently available it must be viewed.

Landrover Defender 90 XS Station Wagon in exceptional immaculate condition having covered only 12000 miles from 2 owners  with full service history

The first job done when brand new was to fully under seal and there is an invoice for this work from Before and After rustproofing for £588.00.

as well as the full defender XS standard specification  there have been some useful and cosmetic enhancements carried out,

the alloy chq plate , side steps were removed and re powder coated in a high gloss black, mudflap brackets replaced with stainless steel and powder coated black, again high gloss.

front winch bumper and 12000 lb Superwinch with dyneema winch rope.

A bar with 4 high quality Rigid Industries spotlights incredably bright and switched with a relay

front grill replaced to a mesh type and headlight protection covers.

The headlights have been upgraded to LED along with the side lights and indicators

The standard road springs have been replaced with ALIVE comfort springs which lower the vehicle approx 25mm  but improve cornering massivly.

5 x Twisted 18 inch  5 spoke alloys are fitted complete with 285 cooper ltz tyres with approx 3000 miles use.

There is a NAS rear step and tow bar facility

Internally the steering wheel has been replaced with a momo Millenium wheel on a removable boss 

a Alpine sub woofer bass unit has been installed to the rear of the cubby box and a new padded leather cubby box lid installed. 

90 % of the standard nuts and bolts have been replaced with A316 stainless steel .

there are more items and security modifications which will be demonstrated on purchase only .

the engine remains totally  standard with no modifications whatsoever .

The original parts replaced are included in the sale , ie steering wheel. 4x road springs headlights,side lights and indicators, and front bumper .

For a serious enthusiast this represents a final opportunity to realise a high quality vehicle at a reasonable cost .
