Land Rover Defender 90 – 2.5 TDi Diesel 1984 (B)

Sellers Comments - Land Rover Defender 90 – 2.5 TDi Diesel 1984 (B) I am selling this Land Rover on behalf of my dad who is based in Southport. Collection could be arranged from either Chorley or Southport. The 2.5 TDi Engine is in very good condition with only a slight oil leak; the engine was installed in 2007 with only 68,000 miles on the engine's clock, current mileage shows as 123,484 miles. At the same time as the engine install, a new clutch and powered steering were installed along with a respray. The vehicle has always kept in a garage and it is used almost every day going to the golf course and back, hence only 20,000 miles accumulated in the last ten years. Please note the following:- The spot lights are not wired up, the spare wheel is not the same as the rest and the third seat can either be a seat or a cubby box (please see images). Sellers Comments - This vehicle has 2 new tyres on the back, 2 x half worn on the front and reasonable spare. Carpeted inside van back so cabin noise is reduced. Galvanized heavy duty roof rack. Power steering fitted. Engine and gearbox has been replaced with low mileage discovery 300 engine and R380 gearbox with a discovery higher ratio transfer box to improve top speed and economy. 1999 Land Rover Defender TD5 *** NEVER BEEN WELDED *** 64,000 MILES ***

Sellers Comments - 1999 Landrover Defender TD5 Regrettably I have to sell my pride and joy due to buying a house. It really is a superb example that has NEVER BEEN WELDED. I bought this about a year ago and since then I have given it some tender love and care which I have detailed below. If you are looking for a genuine Low mileage Defender then look no further. It has only covered 64,000 miles and has service history and MOT history to back this up. It will have a full years MOT when sold. I haven't used it off road since owning it and the previous owner didn't do much in it either. Since owning this vehicle the work I have done is as follows: New Mudflaps Front and Rear Full Major Service Re-trimed interior with Exmoor Trim and Leather Cubby Box Seat bases and Bumper Sand Blasted and Power coated New Swivel Balls, Seals + Gaskets Safari Snorkel Fitted As you can see I have spent a fair bit of money on her but was intending on keeping it for a long time! It has never been welded and I showing very little sign of rust. Even along the rear door is very clean. It has clearly had some paint in its time and could do with a respray again to make it immaculate but on the whole it is very good! When I bought this vehicle the previous owner had a hatch cut in the roof which he used to go shooting. it is water tight and very unique. This is a superb opportunity to own a low mileage defender which is only going to go up in value! Viewing is strongly suggested and any independent checks are welcome. It does also have an immobiliser fitted which helps with the insurance. Only think to note is the vehicle was a Category D back in 2001. 2002 Land Rover Defender 90 County TD5 2.5L pick up

Has the usual dings associated with a vehicle that is 15 years old. It has had various replacement parts including new turbo, new pads and discs, new crank sensor, new electronic accelerators pedal. Effectively it has wanted for nothing. It has no rot undrneathe. It is a great colour as you can see on the photos and is chequer plated throughout the bin as well. The interior panel has had some work and looks as smart as the outside. The machine pulls like a train. It has been slightly raised by a previous owner, but adds to the look of the vehichle. I defy anybody to get this stuck, it will go anywhere!! Don't try and re-bid me when you turn up or you will be asked to leave, no time wasters. Not many of these TD5 pick ups around anymore and the iforwilliams canopy is included in the price

Sellers Comments - 1976 Series 3 Land Rover Lightweight 12V Petrol correctly registered as Historic vehicle ( zero tax and cheap to insure). Although now in army guise she is actually ex Strike Command RAF Leuchars as per military reg number and copy of RAF service record. There is still RAF blue/grey paint under the bonnet!
