Land rover defender 110 ( only 20 000 kilometres )

Sellers Comments Hi, up for auction is a year 2000 Land Rover defender only done 20 000 kilometres. It's a long story so il will try and condense it ! My brother worked in Kosovo for a British facilities company assisting the Army after the troubles. This was one of the 12 Land rovers on site but was not used much as was the only petrol one . When the contract finished my brother purchased the defender and drove home to UK. The defender was registered in Gibraltar so needed a SVA test for U.K. It failed !! As petrol engines for export do not pass U.K. emissions. As the defender was in such good condition my brother decided to invest in it so he changed the bulk head from a left hand drive to right hand drive. Had new fuel tank etc to suit . Removed the petrol engine and fitted a TD5 Diesel engine out of a 2003 defender with only 18 000 miles on it. He has also bought the up to date dash for the TD5 engine My brother drove the defender to uk in 2004 did the first stage of work and stored it since 2005. This is a 100% genuine low mileage defender any inspection welcome. I still have the original petrol engine and bulk head you can view but they are not part of this auction. I recommend Viewing.

Land Rover Series 3 109" 6 Cylinder Tax exempt

Sellers Comments A great old Landy with the added benefit of having overdrive. It Starts, drives and stops great and does not have any overheating issues. It has never let me down. MOT till November 2017 Tax Exempt Gearbox is all good and was told by previous owner it's had a new clutch. New Bits: New Alternator New Water pump New Radiator Electronic ignition fitted Brand new front seats supplied (not fitted) New front bumper New drivers side door top New Door locks When it was in for the last MOT, the mechanic commented on how clean it was underneath for its age. The bulkhead has had a crude repair done by my local garage but was the only fault with it. It has been hand painted by myself so not perfect by any means but does look tidy. The wheels could do with a paint, just not got round to doing it, I have quite a bit of paint left. This is an old vehicle and would prefer you to view it first and is being Sold as seen. Land Rover Defender 110 200 Tdi Expedition Overland

Sellers Comments Up for sale is my Land Rover 110 200Tdi. This is the desirable engine as it does not have any complicated ECU or electrics etc. Being a 1994 model it also benefits from disc brakes all round and power steering so it's quite civilised to drive for a Defender! Has a five speed manual gearbox so will sit at 65-70mph fairly comfortably on a run. It comes with stacks of history, old MOT's etc. The colour was changed from White to NATO green back in 2009 and externally it is very presentable but still a bit rough around the edges. Mechanically all seems fine but I'm no expert! It certainly starts runs stops as well as any Land Rover I've ever owned. Chassis has had some repairs over the years and the bulk head is bubbling slightly but nothing too bad at the moment in my opinion. It is fitted with a heavy duty bull bar from a military 'snatch' armoured Land Rover which has provision for mounting the spare wheel if so desired. It also has a tow bar that I've never used so the electrics are untested. The load bay is checker plated and fairly tidy and would easily convert into some sort of camper if desired. Light bar is wired up and all working. So all in all a fairly tidy if basic Defender 110 200Tdi that would be ideal as a base for some sort of camper/expedition vehicle or perfect as is for work/hunting/fishing etc. Obviously no warranty implied or given and viewing/inspection is recommended. I've tried to price it at the bottom end of the market in the hope of encouraging a quick sale and will listen to sensible offers from people who have preferably viewed it.

Land Rover Series 3 Diesel - 1974 - £3500 ONO

Sellers Comments Land rover series 3 with fairey overdrive. Everything thing you see has been done, it was bought as a blue pick up. Since owned I've put a (quiet) overdrive in, had the starter motor / solenoid reconditioned, bought a new truck battery, gave it on oil change, bled the breaks and gave the chassis a few coats of underseal. The interior has brand new front and rear seats and brackets, new cord carpet with sound proof underlay everywhere, made some door panels and gave the rear door a new lock. The exterior has obviously been painted by myself and by hand, I've fitted a winch, tow balls, bumperettes, chequer plate, side steps, towing rope, trench spade, sledge hammer, axe and 2 jerry cans and much more. Bad points are: the MOT ran out last month, the right indicator doesn't flash, the rear left shock absorber has started to perish and there's a small hole in the bulkhead near the drivers door. there's a lot of rusty old projects going for nearly the same price as I put it up for so I've knocked the price up.
