Range Rover P38 4.0 Petrol Auto

Range Rover P38 4.0L Petrol auto.

Exterior:

Finished in British racing green with no rust to exterior or undercarriage. There are a few minor scratches and age-related marks, however this does not deter from what is a very tidy classic Range Rover.

Interior:

Tan leather in very good all-around condition. Very slight wear to driver's bolster.

Mechanical:

Engine, gearbox and suspension all work as they should. This is an extremely low mileage (69500) vehicle and drives as such - will go up slightly as vehicle is in daily use.

Faults:

Gentleman at car wash has managed to break plastic trim underneath rear left window. I will be happy to remove cost of replacement part from price of final sale.

Small plug for the ceiling trim missing.

Central locking works via the key for all doors bar one (passenger door).

Rear driver's side window does not work.

Work carried out on 17/08/2015 (as seen in receipt in pictures above)

I have recently spent £2330 on suspension and interior. I have had a full diagnostic and health check carried out, full service, and replaced:

wishbone bushes,
side pillars,
drop links,
cross member bar,
front rear brake pads,
front brake discs,
alternator,
rear air shocks,
rear fluid shocks,
crank shaft seal,
gearbox seal,
four ball joints front,
suspension calibration,
new roof rail and side pillars,
new seat motor,
new suspension air pump, front suspension radius arm to chassis, rod-front suspension pan hard RHD, rod-front suspension pan hard LHD.

In summary, If you are looking for a P38, then you will struggle to find a P38 in this condition with this mileage and as mechanically sound.

Land Rover 88 series 3 ex army lightweight, petrol

Sellers Comments - I am selling my Land Rover series 3 , 88 , ex army light weight. its manual and petrol with 2 petrol tanks. i have just spent £600 on welding to get it through mot and the engine turns but doesn't start . she used to, but the wiring needs a bit of attention. i drove her around the field and my kids loved it but new house etc forces sale. i have brought new seats from Craddocks and as pictured new lamp covers etc. there are 4 spare tyres and 2 wheels . there is a log book and key. i have the RAF record card and it appears she hasn't been dropped or abroad ! she needs love , attention and care . so i would only consider selling to an enthusiast and sadly not anyone who is looking for a green laner or Land rover to smash up .

Land Rover Series 3 88" 1981 Rebuilt On a Galvanised Chassis

Resprayedl and updated only 4 years ago, Completely Rebuilt, This smart Series 3 has a very good specification and history - firstly it has only had three former keepers! Secondly, it has been rebuilt in recent years onto a new galvanised chassis. At this point, many upgrades were added . OVERDRIVE - ideal for longer runs on larger roads FREE WHEELING HUBS - reduces fuel consumption and wear to front axle components ELECTRIC FAN - improves fuel economy (Kenlowe) LPG - this has been professionally installed, and obviously transforms running costs. 60p a litre Overdrive and FWH giving much better economy over standard fitments.
