Land Rover Series 1 V8 - Walsall

This is a very reluctant sale of my Series 1 V8, I have owned this vehicle since late 2007 and it has been a real pleasure, but I find myself not spending enough time using it so the time has come to part with it.
This is a very special Series 1 V8, I am led to believe that it is using a early Ashcroft conversion using Rover SD1 engine and five speed gear box, this still retains the selectable 4 wheel drive and high/ low range. The engine is a fantastic runner and sounds like a V8 should and it drives very well. The chassis and underneath is fully wax oiled and in exceptional condition, the bodywork is also very good but does have a few knocks here and there, it comes complete with soft top fitted, bikini hood, and hard top with rear door. It has been fitted with parabolic leaf springs and gas shocks, their is a stainless steel fuel tank ( a bit small ) underneath the vehicle, it is also fitted with an early set of period 1970's alloy wheels with near enough brand new Maxis Mudder tyres including a steel spare.
