Ive seen a lot of these and this is definitely one of the better ones, drives spot on, no leaks, bangs or bumps, straight and precise and very tight and crisp. first time starter, new battery. just had my garage do a winter check and has a clean bill of health. for its age it has been well looked after and hasn't had a difficult life.

Very solid underneath, excellent bulkhead and chassis, no rot on jack points etc. Worst area is back door with some aluminium corrosion present.

Obviously there are a few minor dents and scratches but in summary this is good, straight , solid. clean car

couple of niggles are lights on roof bar don't illuminate - im guessing a fuse

there is a key to switch the batteries over for the winch which I have lost. you will need a replacement from husky or bypass the wiring

nothing major to do, tax and MOT until march next year, plenty of service history stamps, old MOT certs and invoices plus all original handbooks

could easily be put back to standard, don't be put off by the high level of off road kit, its is not an abused example and for almost 20 years old its superb

J Reg 1991 Land Rover Defender

Owned for nearly two years and well looked after in that time during which it has had new master and slave cylinders, new front ball joint and new rear differential.

Has all the lumps and dents you expect on a 22 year old landy.

Great engine no problems starting and runs very well.

Five good tyres .

Speedo went wrong at 110,109 miles and was replaced with a speedo that had 58,533 miles on it. New speedo now reads 63,474 miles so I believe the total miles done to be just over 115,000. the old speedo is available.

I have bought a slightly newer Defender 110 as I need a bit more room hence the sale as im not allowed to have two......

You are looking at Land Rover Defender 90 TD5 County first reg 2000 (W), genuine factory county not a conversion. Equipped with full internal roof lining, front centre seat and forward facing rear seats all with 3 point seat belts. Rear seats fold away to the sides and are in matching cloth trim. Land rover rubber floor matting in front and rear, fm radio with cd and iPod connection. Mud flaps all round and nice alloys with BF Goodrich all terrain tires with loads of tread left. Body work generally very good no deep scratches or dents paint still very bright. Does suffer from minor Land rover corrosion but only to bottom of rear door and small patch around passenger door handle, bulk head and rest of car very solid.
