Land Rover Series 3 88" Pickup Very Original Great Patina Only 64,000 Miles

Only 2 previous owners a last one owning it since July 1983 so it has been in long term ownership for most of it's life hence it's unmolested condition.

It was first registered on the 1st April 1983.

Finished in Marine Blue with Ivory Wheels, in my opinion one of the best colour combinations Land Rover did.

Mot's dating back to 2005 show that the vehicle has only covered 4,000 miles in the last 10 years. It has been used at Fruit Farm in Ledbury for the last 32 years prior to that it had been in Leominster and so it had always remained near Herefordshire.

Over the years this Land Rover has always been well looked after and it's great to see a Land Rover with original paint. I have an invoice for it from July 2014 that shows it had a new clutch at £191.14, gearbox repairs for £900, labour of £1152 and 4 litres of oil at £43.15 all this totalling to £2286.29  some say they may have been over charged but when you drive the Land Rover it is great with a very tight gearbox and the selector is very accurate unlike other Land Rovers that have worn. There is no question that from the condition of the vehicle that the mileage is genuine. It has just had a new canvas from Undercover Covers at a cost of over £200.

It still has a 2.25 petrol engine in it. Which is an excellent runner and starts on the button without fail. It has plenty of power and the Land Rover really does drive very well with a quiet gearbox and quite a smooth ride as everything has settled in and so mechanically it is very good. The Land Rover has a very good chassis which still retains a lot of it's original paint there is surprisingly hardly any corrosion on the chassis other than surface rust in areas which has been treated and so it requires no attention.

The Land Rover has just had new front seats which are the deluxe ones which is what it previously had. Considering it's age inside the cabin on the Land Rover is very good the dash hasn't faded and doesn't have any horrible tears. The rear tub inside has hardly any dents in it which is quite unusual for a Land Rover this shows that the use it has had over the years has only been light. The engine bay is very original and standard and has come up very well.

Any inspections or questions are welcome, please remember that the vehicle is 32 years old.
