1963 Series II/III Land Rover. Diesel 2 1/4ltr.
First registered 6/2/63 and still with original Registration Number which
therefore could be transferred. Tax exempt. MOT till August 2015.
It has a Series III bulkhead, front wings, engine and gearbox. Fitted with Fairey freewheel hubs.
New springs all round and brake master cylinder before last MOT. Rear folding seats and a complete replacement one. Pillar jack and a wheel brace.
Drives very well on the new springs and with fresh brakes it is 52 years old and has never been restored so as you'd imagine it's not faultless, the guages need looking at as a few aren't working, it burns off smoke on startup suggesting the stem seals have dried, this is only on startup though, viewing highly recommended as this is a very nice land rover and these are only going up in value, selling due to lack of use and space.
