Sellers Comments - Land Rover Defender 90 CSW County Station Wagon Dry stored for the last 3 years due to illness. Fitted 67000 mile 300TDi Discovery engine. Chassis, engine, gearbox and pillars all good. Chassis fully waxoiled before storage inside and out. I have driven her around our local track and she pulls well in all gears. Will require pre- MOT work - attention to rear cross member, electrics (superwinch and lights) and a full service etc. She is a good head-turner. Bodywork has been treated with a gloss Black Rustoleum Combicolour protective shell before storage. Harder than factory paint and stops rust completely. Looks passable-ish if you squint a bit from a distance. Bodywork has a few dinks from green laning. Doors have a bit of rust at the bottom but have been treated with dissimilar metal corrosion preventer so should be good for a few more years. Fitted with a Superwinch, snorkel and 2" raised suspension. Was used as a daily driver plus weekend toy before storage. Will require recommissioning. Currently on SORN. I have the green log book slip and have sent off to DVLA for the full log book which should arrive before the end of auction. Land Rover Defender 90 300 tdi - 1994

Sellers Comments for sale here is my Defender 300 tdi, its very reliable, always starts no problem, many new parts have been fitted this last couple of years. its sitting on standard height suspension which is a year old, shes got new back brakes and reasonably new front pads. the exhaust is stainless and the bulk head is sound, the chassis has had a couple of welds to get through the mot. shes currently sorned.ive used her mainly for overland trips and very rarely green laned. all tyres are still great and loads of tread left and the spare has never been used. rear cross member and rock sliders could do with a rub down and re painting but theyre still sound. any questions then please contact me ( richard ) on 07852246035.she is advertised elsewhere so i reserve the right to end the listing at any time.

Land Rover Series 3 Soft Top - 1978

Sellers Comments Selling my rag top classic Landy as I've currently got no time to enjoy it. Grab some cheap summer fun and a handy 4x4 rolled into one. My Landy starts, runs and drives really well. Usual dents, scrapes etc that you would expect on a Land Rover of this age. Fitted with new door tops and a reconditioned Webber carburettor. This is a very useable project vehicle and comes with a long MOT. The chassis is good but the bulkhead needs some work. i.e passenger side footwell and top corners. Top corner repair panels are supplied with the car. There is also a short truck cab style soft top supplied with the car which is brand new. Feel free to ask any questions. Don't expect a new car but a useable and fun project that is only increasing in value. Buyer collects from Warrington, Cheshire and should feel confident to drive this car back to anywhere in the uk. It's very reliable. Good luck and happy bidding.

Land Rover series 1 Series 88

Sellers Comments Land Rover Series 1. 1958 88 The Land Rover starts and can be moved about. I originally bought this with the intention or a rebuild but have now realised I really don't have the time. Since buying it I have replaced the 2 front outriggers and the rear chassi section and plated some sections on the chassi. Really the car wants to be stripped and rebuilt but if the brakes were looked at and the petrol pipes are replaced it could be used as it is but I suppose it is down to what you want. I would rather anyone who is interested to view the vehicle first but I suppose anyone who knows about these will have an idea of what to expect. The Landy is fitted with parabolic springs an shockers to match It is fitted with an overdrive and also free wheeling hubs. The plate BAS would be ideal for someone named "Barry".

LAND ROVER series 2a tax exempt "Ratty" paint job

Sellers Comments OK, so she looks a bit rough and is currently SORNd and un MOT'd so will need trailering away, but here is what you will get if you buy her ... all the below NEW items within the last 10 years. . Galvanised chassis . Parabolic springs . Wiring harness . Brake pipes and slave cylinders . Steering box and slave box . Gas conversion (professionally fitted) . Radiator . Alternator . Distributor . Fuel pump . inertia reel seatbelts and loads of other new small bits such as the foot mounted dip switch etc. She has also had a full engine recondition about 10,000 miles ago and a reconditioned gearbox and transfer box. The mileage ion the speedo is wrong due to a replacement head being fitted but she has done about 130,000 She has had replacement front wings (Series 3) and a series 3 master cylinder to improve her braking ability. She has a bonnet mounted spare wheel. She has a Warn winch fitted but I have lost the remote. and best of all she is TAX EXEMPT which appeals to the anarchist in me :-) She comes with an unfitted 6CD changer stereo (no speakers) and new door rubbers (unfitted) I can also sell a highlift jack if required. Due to her age, she is bought as seen and I recommend a viewing prior to purchase.

Land Rover Defender 110 200tdi Camper Expedition Explorer Off The Grid Camping

Sellers Comments
Land Rover Defender 110 200tdi Camper Expedition Explorer Off The Grid Camping.

Hello and welcome to this rare sale. This sale is for my Landrover Defender 110 Camper. This will get you to areas that no other campers have been before!

The Land Rover its self is a pickup model with a genuine 200tdi engine, fitted from the factory. This runs very nicely and is unbelievably quiet along with gearbox.
Chassis wise is very solid has had some welding work over the years.
All the outriggers are solid, (i would say it's time for another wax oil to keep on top of it)
Again, the bulkhead is in overall good condition. There is some surface rust coming through on the bulkhead corners, (nothing major see pics).
The Land Rover has had new door skins over the last 18months. It's also fitted with a few extras like new snorkel, jackable rocksliders, high-level front bumper, chequer plate, light bar, 30mm spacers etc.
This is Moted until September 2017.
All panels are fairly straight for a Defender.
It has half leather seats and a matching cubby box the front.

Now to the camper part:
The camper body is made out of lightweight fibreglass. This will sleep 2 Adults and one small child, (or as many as you want to fit).
This makes up as a double bed with child's space above the cab.
The camper conversion was done a good 10years ago and is still going strong.
It has a sink area fitting and storage under the seats.
This has been kitted out to be as basic as possible.(nothing to go wrong)

I would say the Land Rover wants a few bits doing to it such as;
New drivers door lock.
A heater switch in the cab.
Odd bit of trim
Odd mark/scratch etc here and there (it's a Land Rover)

As for the camper, its set up to be as basic as possible ie no heating or power but it would be very easy to fit, using the second leisure battery and a split charge system.
Heating wise, we were going to put a diesel heater in but it's been warm enough when we have used it, so haven't got round to it.

I had big plans for the camper over the next coming months. I was going to get it heated and the electric supply in along with a tv, paint the blue, white. Just make it a really modern camper. Unfortunately, time is against me and its time for it to go.

The camper is ready to go on an adventure as it is or with a little work could be something very special. This 110 has done many trips overseas and is a very trustworthy Land Rover.
She now sits on a set of alloys wheels with new Bridgestone tyres.

Sellers Comments A rare opportunity to own a genuine Land Rover 1976 88" Safari. This Land Rover is full of character. Purchased over 11 years ago as part of a package deal it hasn't done anything since although, with a booster pack it fires into life and trundles along just fine. A genuine vehicle which has been unmolested over the years with only a few mods to the dash to incorporate radio and some electric upgrades. A valuable base for a project vehicle for restoration. The pictures tell all. Expected grazes here and there but all intact, no major damage and drove 2 miles to its current location last weekend. If you are looking for a project then this is a peach. Please come and view. Selling on behalf of a friend.

Land Rover Series IIA 1966 88"

Sellers Comments Tax Exempt 2.5 Diesel V5 Present 11 previous owners MOT until 1st November 2017 No advisories It is road worthy and I very occasionally used, the last 3 years it has been a donkey to carry stuff around when I needed it to. It is running a 1996 Transit DI Engine and gearbox which has just had cam belt, water pump and filters changed. Rear wheel drive only. Just had a recon injector pump cost costing £600 It has a good chassis and has been a very reliable vehicle. Tyres are less than a year old Has had repairs but as you can see in the pictures is showing its age on the door pillars and the bulk head, I have had plates welded in and filled Needs handbrake hub and shoes Its a great truck but I do not have the time to restore it and no longer have the need or space for it. Just bear in mind that it is 50 years old so the fuel guage and speedo don't work , I just wait for the light to flash up on the dashboard to tell me I need fuel. Steering wanders , always has. As with all Land Rovers it marks its territory. Had a recent paint job, looks better in the photos than close up. Sensible offers only, no tyre kickers Advertised elsewhere so may end early.

Land Rover Defender 90 1984 2.25 Petrol USA EXPORT 82,000 MILES USA EXPORTABLE DELIVERY AVAILABLE - WILLIAMS CLASSICS

Sellers Comments Land Rover Defender 90 1984 2.25 Petrol USA EXPORT First registered 14th June 1984. 82,000 miles from new. This is a rare early Land Rover 90 which is fitted with it's original 2.25 petrol engine, therefore is suitable for USA Export. Bench seats are fitted to the rear which are in great condition, genuine winch bumper and bull bar and a superwinch condition unknown. Roof rack, The vehicle would benefit from a respray or could be used as it is. Fortunately the original galvanised cappings have been left alone which is correct for an early 90. Front seats are Exmoor replacements in good condition. Original headlining still in place, radio, side windows. This vehicles was last on the road in 2016 and is a great project and will make a really nice vehicle. It has covered less than 700 miles since it's last mot. In 2015 new continental cross contact tyres were fitted at a cost of £515.00. Other work totalling £900 was also carried out in the same year so this vehicle shouldn't require much for it's next mot and is currently running and driving. Previous mot's confirm the mileage is correct.

Land Rover Defender Camper

Sellers Comments Expedition camper based on a 130" Land Rover Special vehicles chassis, originally built for the Midlands Electricity Board, with a single cab, and a quad tech body. Myself and my family wanted to do a world trip, and built the camper with this in mind. It was built to be comfortable for 2 adults, and 2 children. It was designed to be 6" high inside, 6" wide, and had to have a cassette toilet & cubicle. I did a 1/10 scale drawing (which I still have), and one of my customers happened to be building composite quad tech bodies for Land Rover, so they took my drawing, converted it into a cad drawing, and all the body panels were ordered flat packed, and arrived on a truck a few weeks later. As the body is 6' wide, I widened the cab, having 4" put in each side of a brand new bulkhead, then it was just a matter of making a wider windscreen surround, and also the front wings, so now it doesn't need the rubber arches. This means, you are not stuffed up against the doors, like a normal defender! The floor is 50mm thick with insulation, and the walls and roof are 27mm thick with insulation, the walls and roof are faced with fibreglass both sides, which makes for a very clean finish. It has a rear door that hinges at the top, and is lifted by gas struts. In 2001 we did a trip half way across Russia to the Altai Region, with kids aged 4 and 6, we were there a month, and it took 8 days of driving each way in Russia, all in all, it did 10000 miles in 3 weeks of driving. It has all the comforts you would want in an expedition vehicle, 220v hook up, plug in systems panel, sterling battery charger, leisure battery, and even a couple of solar panels on the roof, sink, gas hob, oven and grille, microwave (220v), pumped water from military plastic water carriers (easy to sterilise). It has 2 on board propane tanks, which you fill from autogas pumps (cheap), and even a barbecue point. The fridge is 3 way, and works well. There is plenty of storage space, with 4 overhead lockers for clothes, 2 overhead lockers in the kitchen area above the sink and stove, with a large locker at the back for food with a shelf below for tools. There is an open locker below the fridge, where we carried 2 Honda 1000w inverter generators. There is a permanent double bed above the cab, and another can be made up using clip together plywood base, and mattresses carried on board. It has the Thetford Cassette toilet, and even a shower, but in practice, we found it easier to bathe in Rivers & Lakes. Mechanically, it is a standard 200tdi engine with LT77 5 speed gearbox, both the gearboxes were reconditioned by Legs in Oswestry, when we returned from Russia. It has an Allard intercooler, which really helps. It has a heavy duty rear anti roll bar, which stops a lot of roll. It has a PTO driven superwinch, with 100 feet of dyneema synthetic rope. Range Rover vented discs fitted, with proper spacers to front calipers, heavy duty rear springs, with air helpers inside, controlled from the dash, and a viair compressor fitted under the bonnet, to give on board air in a receiver mounted to the rear cross member, so you are able to inflate your own tyres. It has an eberspacher 12 volt diesel fueled air heater heater, which I will have serviced, so you can keep nice and warm. Seitz double glazed windows fitted all round with built in roller fly, and privacy screens, the roof has 3 opening skylights, with privacy/fly screens fitted. There is also a military escape hatch fitted above the front bed, which in reality is just an aluminium version of a glass sun roof, you can open it, or take it out, and gain access to the roof, which can also be accessed by a ladder at the back. The chassis is sound with no welding, although waxoyling it wouldn't be a bad idea. It has hi lift jacking points at the back, and in the front bumper. The camper will cruise at 65mph all day long, big hills will knock it back, but it hustles along quite nicely. It is in the May edition of Land Rover Owner, with a photo taken at Tyungur bridge in the Altai, google it in maps and images, and you'll see how far we got (1/4 way round the world!). I don't use it very often, its been to Glastonbury Festival twice with friends (would have like to take it myself!) I have built a camper based on a new Mercedes Sprinter, that does everything I need, so its time for someone else to take her to new places! I will supply it with a 12 month MOT. Please don't expect a super comfortable RV, this is about as comfortable a Land drover expedition vehicle, as you are likely to get, which can still cover long distances in a reasonable time!

Ex mod series 3 FFR 2.25 petrol - 1980

Sellers Comments. Ex mod series 3 FFR 2.25 petrol spent quite a lot on this old girl in the last 6 months new brakes, brake pipes, brake master cylinder, 2 out riggers rear cross member new seats out of a defender, old ones can be included but are ripped. Starts on the button runs drives and stops. There is 2 problems the fuel gauge doesn't work. Tank sender is seized and there is a knocking from the gearbox only hear it when you pull away I believe it's a bearing as I've driven it for a year or so with no problems

1964 Land Rover Short Wheelbase Station Wagon, Road Tax Exempt

Sellers Comments This is a Series 2a short wheelbase Station Wagon with a lot of Series 3 parts. The bulkhead and 2.25 petrol engine are Series 3 for sure. It is road tax free It is also a seriously competent off-road vehicle with very good low mileage mud pattern tyres on grey modular wheels, the suspension has been raised and it has some under body protection and rock sliders. I have driven this truck where you cannot walk. It has a Defender rear door with wash-wipe and heated glass. It also has an electric Kenlowe fan and a NATO hitch. It starts and runs beautifully However - it has not been used for many years and needs a lot of work to get it back on the road. The interior is in a very poor state and it desperately needs a coat of paint. A large tin of International Harvesters red will be included. It needs a new door top (included). The original inward facing rear seats are included but not fitted. It really needs a lot of TLC. Mechanically the main issue is brakes, it has been standing for so long that they are binding and need freeing off. I recently replaced all the ignition components, starter motor and battery. It starts instantly and runs smoothly and quietly. This is a truck which would suit a true enthusiast looking for a project.

Land Rover Series III

Sellers Comments -
This is an original 1978 Land Rover Series 3 - 88 short wheel base

It has undergone a complete and very nice (from the ground up) restoration by the previous owner, Including a new short engine installation.

Presented in Land Rover Bronze Green, with Canvas Full Rag Top and Limestone Wheels – making it a handsome looking example.

The restoration started after a piston had come through, and therefore its was time to bring it back to her former glory.

The whole vehicle was stripped right back, and the outriggers were replaced. There were some additional replacement patches added. All work was completed by a professional trained fabricator and welder.

The chassis was completely renovated using red-oxide, then two coats of chassis paint, followed by the application of a light black coat of wax oil under-seal, making it as good as new. The chassis is now solid and 100% rust free.

All of the suspension has been repaired or replaced as needed and the axles have been stripped repainted as the chassis.

The bulkhead was given replacement footwells and floors. It was then prepared and rubbed completely back and has undergone a red-oxide treatment before it was primered and then finished in the two top coats. All appropriate seals have been replaced too.

The engine has undergone a belt and braces rebuild, so while it has done 95000 miles over its life time, you can be rest assured the engine now has another 100,000 in her - it was skimmed and completely rebuilt with ‘all’ new parts. Pistons, rings, crank big ends, seals, bearings, injectors etc etc etc. In fact a complete rebuild.

Since refitting the car has travelled no more 700 miles, therefore its probably just about run in.

New brakes have been fitted, including drums, shoes and springs. A new seal kit was fitted into the master cylinder and a new seal kit was fitted into the clutch.

Internally, triple front seats fitted and a brand new cubby box and a bench seat in the rear. The seats are in perfect order with no rips or tears.

All controls work as they should, the dashboard does have a couple of very small sun cracks, but it shouldn’t deter anyone wanting it. Rubber handbrake and gear gaiters have been fitted. So a very clean, decent and enjoyable cabin .

Prior to restoration, the vehicle had been painted in places by hand, a common Land Rover thing ! – It meant it did have some faint paint runs and in some areas where the paint was thicker in places. Both wings had signs of damage too, and had been given some make shift repairs. So the body was rubbed back, however the nice thing is that the restoration carried out, still gives the vehicle a new but used look, rather than choosing to use filler in panels, which often starts to show through after time. This gives the vehicle a lovely feel of looking really good for its age and not something it shouldn’t be !

It has had a complete respray both inside and out. It was etch primed where it needed, then a coat of primer all over before completing with two top coats.

A brand new pair of side sills have been fitted, the wings retain their light wear and some of the flat surface marks can still be visible below the paint, again some lovely character.

At the rear a pair of checker plate corners have been fitted.

All four wheel drive works perfectly well and the wheels are fitted with four  750 x16 M/T tyres including a very decent spare.

The engine is of course the 2286 and is diesel, and while a little noisier than the petrol version, the economy is significantly better.

The gearbox works beautifully, with synchromesh, so no need for double de-clutching, which you would have to do for any earlier models.

It comes with a long MOT, which was done in September and passed easily with ‘no advisories’ at all.

There are two sets of keys and the doors lock perfectly well. The canvas hood looks like new. She is currently stored in a dry garage, and was also garage stored by the previous owner for several years, so since restoration she has been very well looked after.

This is a handsome and very honest Land Rover, it is quite original with no silly modern additions. Its huge fun to drive, quite physical at times, but that is part of the charm and why we love them.

It comes with some reasonable documented history.

There is nothing that this Land Rover needs, everything is in perfect working order, so the only thing she needs is to be driven !

In addition to becoming the owner of a great vehicle, you can also be safe in the knowledge that this Land Rover is an investment, it will only go up in value, so you can buy it, have huge fun and when you are ready sell it on and you will make a profit, which can’t be said for may other vehicles of this price range.

Everyone is welcome to come and view it at anytime and I’m happy to answer any questions – I would however like to request please, that I receive serious interest only,

I am very happy to sell my Land Rover internationally, to anyone in the world, and but would be willing to help source a delivery company if needed.

My photography skills aren't that good, so if you would like me to take any additional specific images, just let me know.

I've looked around and can see that there are Land Rover being sold for considerably more than I looking for, and equally there are cheaper ones out there too, although the cheaper ones do need work, and from experience, can easily be money pits. So if you would like this Land Rover, do bid with confidence.

Happy Bidding
