This is a
vintage die-cast model of a Land Rover Short Wheel Base car, in the red and
silver livery of the Mersey Tunnel Police Division., in white and orange police
livery, complete with a policeman figure.
Made
in England by Dinky Toys from 1954 to 1959, and complete with original
cardboard box.
This is an early model, with red, ridged wheels and smooth tyres
Condition as per photographs - The vehicle
is in overall good condition for it’s
age. there is some wear to the paintwork, but the diecast itself is undamaged,
making this a great restoration or Code Three project Would benefit from a
sympathetic clean. The cardboard box show some signs of wear and handling.
This is one of a very diverse and eclectic
collection of model vehicles, kits and accessories currently being listed on
behalf of a well-known West Country collector and expert in the model trade.
The collection covers numerous genres, scales and brands, and contains many
early, unusual and rare items.
