Ton. Chassis number 26600158C. Registered 16/12/74
I purchased this vehicle last year with the intent of doing
something with it but I have decided to sell on as is due to time constraints.
This is the rare 1 ton version. Extended spring hangers,
bolt on gear box x member etc. Best information of this model can be found on
http://www.onetonlandrover.co.uk. This one is listed under its chassis number
on this website. To the best of my knowledge the axles are correct ones, the
gearbox is not the orignial or a 1 ton version.
No engine. The front wings are in the back but the outer
skins of both are damaged/cut. Chassis number is stamped and visible on the
chassis. Chassis has some repairs -see photos. A previous owner has converted
to a hi capacity pick up. Apart from the white truck cab panels all other body
panels are included.
The vehicle does not drive (no engine for a start!) but does
roll and steer. You will need a trailer or another means of collection. This is
a rare Land Rover but also a project so only bid if you know what this can mean
!
