MOT and TAX exempt
Good Points below:-
Good engine and gear box, drives really well
Chassis in good condition, has had some welding on out riggers and has had a replacement rear cross member
Original un welded dum irons
Brakes in good working order
Recent new brakes
No filler anywhere,it has scars/ dents to prove it
Engine is a series 3 ex army 2.25 and runs well
Everything works as it should
Recent fuel tank fitted
Bulk head had had some welding to a good standard
Foot wells have been repaired in the past
Hand brake doesn't hold very good, but does work
Horn not working ( have not had time to look at it)
Alternator flickers when not under load (might need replacing)
Heater leaks a little so we have by passed it
No spare wheel
Coud do with a new set of tyres, but they are road legal
Has roll bar fitted, but only clamped to the chassis, so can be removed easily if owner wants to
I have tried to be honest with the description as I can
No swaps or barbie jeeps
Collection from St Austell, Cornwall and cash on collection.
I HAVE OWNED THIS LANDY SINCE JANUARY 2006 IT HAS ONLY LET ME DOWN TWICE IN THE 9 YEARS I HAVE OWNED IT AND BOTH TIMES IT WAS MY FAULT THE FIRST TIME WAS A FEW DAYS AFTER I BOUGHT IT THE GUY I BOUGHT IT OFF NEVER TOLD ME THAT THE FUEL GAUGE ONLY WENT TO 1/2 FULL (WELL JUST UNDER 1/2) THEN YOU RAN OUT OF FUEL AND THE SECOND TIME WAS I HADNT USED IT FOR A FEW MONTHS AND THE BATTERY WENT FLAT.
AND THATS IT IN 9 YEARS.

Purchased by me in 2010 needing some of the usual Land rover repairs ie new footwells, door posts and repared bulkhead top. All of this work has been completed to a high standard.
Many photographs from start to finish of the restoration.
It sits on a galvanised Richards chassis and has been sprayed with black underseal wax.
Fitted with many new parts including new water pump, steering box, steering relay, ball joints, brake cylinders, clutch cylinders, half shaft bearings, swivel balls, tyres the list goes on.
Recon gearbox and engine runs sweet at all temperatures and never misses a beat.
this motor is a straight genuine land rover that has been used for shows and steam rallies but never off roaded.
Land Rover series 3 pickup/truck cab tax exempt, K reg good chassis, last taxed March 2013, good running Perkins 4203 engine, 750 – 16 tyres on long wheelbase 109 rims, will provide a spare, bonnet with spare wheel carrier but missing bolts, new fuel tank fitted 3 years ago, new outriggers fitted 3 years ago, foot well’s will need a bit of work on them, the bulk head has been repaired 3 years ago seems ok now 1 photo shows the weakest point, good door tops, although one driver side window need’s re fitting, its been stood for a couple of years and now the clutch is stuck, not much work needed to go through MOT, have the old style log book as well as the new V5 doc, first registered was a Priest.
