Sellers Comments - Here is my Land Rover Series 2a (1964), truck cab. Running PROJECT. The last MOT expired last year, with only few minor advisories listed. Plenty of MOT history with this vehicle, and paperwork included. Has standard 2.25 DIESEL engine (which does run). I have drove it, but has had very little use over the years. Chassis HAS been welded and has plenty of surface rust, although seems solid. Bulkhead is solid, has had repair (passenger footwell etc).
Tyres seem fine, and do hold perfectly.
I have replaced the
- Radiator
- Starter Motor
- Head Lights
- Passenger footwell
- I DO have paints (grey)
- Brake Shoes (need fitting)
- Brake Master Cylinder (need fitting)
- Has plenty of history.
Please be aware that this IS A PROJECT. But is COMPLETE. I have a sensible reserve set on this, according to the similar market value.
No tyre kickers! This old lass will obviously have to be towed to her new home! She's not dead! - only sleeping!
Any questions!! Please Ask! :-)
The Land Rover Defender is an off-road vehicle produced under this name by the British manufacturer, Land Rover, since 1991. However, the vehicle is the direct heir of the first Land Rover that made its debut in 1948. The first prototype was built by the British automaker in 1947 and it was designed for the army. This iconic car was improved over the years and it has been known for generations as a national treasure.
