Land Rover 109 Series 2a Station Wagon 300TDI - Location Kelso - United Kingdom

1968 series 2a 109 SW. I have spent a year and over £2.5 K in parts alone restoring and fitting her with a low mileage 300TDI Discovery engine, Range Rover power steering, Discovery Diffs and series 3 gearbox.

I am selling as a (slightly) unfinished project due to a personal change of circumstance, but i genuinely believe a couple of good weekends work will have it finished!
Parts Replaced as follows :-
4x New doors and rear door.
2x A posts
2x Sills (NS+OS)
1x OS footwell (N/S already replaced)
Engine and running gear as listed
4x Shock Absorbers
6x New Seats (high back drivers + passengers)
New seat belts
New wiring loom
New Halogen Headlights
2x front brake drums + shoes
copper brake pipes
Brake master cylinder
Clutch Slave + master cylinder
Lock set and ignition
Window runner channels
Battery
Exhaust
+ much more!

The work I know to finish is repair/replace N/S/R outrigger (cross with myself that i didn't notice this at beginning of restoration!)
The chassis has been patched at the rear some time ago, and front dumb irons replaced (not by me), but the chassis is very, very sound (apart from the N/S/R outrigger obviously!), and in my opinion only needs waxoyling after the repair.
The bulkhead is also good. Please look at the pictures to get example of the car finish.
It was painted in my garage so the finish is not concourse but must be better than 95% of other series 2's.
The engine is excellent, with instant starting, No smoke and the power steering making the car light to drive.
The brake require bleeding + setting up, windscreen washers fitting (new ones supplied) + perhaps a couple of other small jobs (that I can't remember!)
Someone will make good money on the car with little work but it must go so grab a bargain!
I also have some spares (including a series 3 diesel engine) that I will include in the sale.

Please no time wasters and note the car is sold as an unfinished pr
