Land Rover Series 1 LWB 109 - For Sale

Been in the family since bought brand new in 1956. Original engine, totally rebuilt 2 years ago by a top, fussy, retired Rover mechanic (old school) and done less than 200 miles since.

Starts first time in all weather and runs like a well oiled pocket watch. Perfectly solid bulkhead and chassis and I can't see evidence of any previous welding or patching either.

£1000's been spent on it over the past 5 years. New wiring loom throughout, fuel tank, tyres, battery, brake master cylinder, brake cylinders and pipes, canvas top, full engine re-build, petrol pump, etc, etc, etc. Original number plate included. 2118 HK.

Working Semaphore indicators and old horn.

It was hand painted 5 years ago and that is showing signs of wear.

Beautiful to drive and will be sorely missed. A real beauty. Sadly, ill health brings about the sale.

Please feel free to ask any questions or to view and test drive. Cleared cheque only and within 7 days of end of auction.
