1969 Series 2a. 88" diesel. MoT Nov 15. Owned for 8
years, previous owner 16 years, history from 1991. Classic Land Rover that
looks great as it is. Some cosmetic TLC needed if you want 'showroom' standard,
but not necessary. It needs a new wind screen wiper motor (which recently
failed), driver's side internal door handle and it jumps out of 1st and 2nd
gear on occasion but not if the gear stick is held (it did this when i bought
it). I use it daily / weekly and i am only selling due to job move, i would not
be selling otherwise or change it in any way. Only 4700 local miles over the
last 8 years. Any inspection welcome, can be viewed at PO7.
Re-listed due to not achieving the original reserve and then
a time waster. This 'Landy' would suit a first time Land Rover buyer or
experienced Land Rover person who with minimal time and effort will easily
increase its value, i wish i could keep it. I have had a couple of offers which
were nowhere near the amount I originally wanted. However she needs to be used
and not left standing so i have reluctantly re-listed at a 'buy it now' price
of £2500, no offers. (She owes me this much!)
