Here we have a 1980 Land Rover Series 3 in Marine blue.
Registered on 1st Dec 1980 (35 years old so only 5 years
until it is tax exempt!)
Supplying dealer plaque W J Joyce (Eng) Ltd of Trowbridge,
Range Rover and Land Rover dealers and still has the original dealer number
plates on!
Needs some restoration as it has not been used on the road
for a few years.
Engine fires up and sounds ok (lack of exahaust means it is
loud!)selects all gears and drives backwards and forwards.
Will need a radiator as it leaks.
Freewheeling hubs.
Chassis is not too bad but will need some welding including
n/s front outrigger and other areas but by no means a disaster.
Tidy inside.
Body pretty straight and tidy,I would leave as is.
Will make a nice project.
