For Sale £3995 - Land rover lightweight FFR 24v
A rare find land rover lightweight 24volt FFR 1984 first issue to 40 royal marine commando and stayed until it was decommissioned 1999. the lightweight has been upgraded by the military as this was issued to special forces. wolf wheels, bigger front wheel brake shoes.
full MOT no advisories.
It drive great all nice and tight on road. is fitted with Overdrive gearbox.
The baskets on the bonnet where only put on special forces forward operating vehicles.they where used for cam nets so they could rolled out and covered fast.
the engine was fitted with water prof HT leads distributor cap etc
prof of service with 40 Royal marine commando.
jet washing this lightweight the top paint was flaking off leaving the original paints below.desert being one of them.military vehicles are only painted the colour of theatre they are deployed to.
i can see this lightweight being on display at some military fair..all kitted up.
it also came with a landrover desert sun visor.
it does need a few jobs on body to make this lightweight look really good, mainly upper bulkhead vent pannel
