Defender 90 300tdi
although its an 1987 D reg, its not actually that old(technically speaking)!
because its not got pretty much the original parts!
almost everything is either of newer defenders or uprated parts!
so here goes,
shes got the better 300tdi engine,with full breathing/wading kit.(not the standard original 2.5d but still the 2.5d on the log book so alot cheaper to insure!)
serviced by me before xmas.
newer body shell not the original,resprayed matt black last year
300tdi front and rear axles with disc brakes and breathing/wading kit
fully functional safari snorkel fitted
fully pollybushed all round
2" lift kit with gas shocks
chequer plated bonnet and wings
brand new interior seats matching the yellow uprated bits on the outside
massive off road wheels and tyres (only 6 months old) with 30mm spacers
rock/tree sliders
side exit exhaust
uprated trailing arms and radius arms
probably missed stuff off but basically everythings on her you need to go off roading!!
even deap water wading!
now im a little embarrassed to say this but ive not taken her off road!!
shes got the odd small battle mark but seriously nothing really just not show room lol
wanted to get all the gear fitted to do so if i ever had the balls to do it id not get stuck,the previous owner did take her on a couple of play days but i wanted to get her looking awseome first before i did!
the car looks amazing and ive had people starring from kids to old blokes lol
shes got a full 6 months tax and mot'd till december this year.
everything works as it should,diff lock hi low box etc.

oh the full dip on the headlights doesnt work right but ive got a 2nd hand set of stalks to sort this,just not got round to fitting them yet.
the great thing about this defender against a lot of others ive seen is inside shes spotless! new seats and always kept the interior clean so its no dirty old abused off roader,very pleasent place to be inside.
if any works needed doing ive done it straight away.
only "bad point" i know of when you start her cold you get a small puff of black smoke from the exhaust but not when shes warm and engine ticks over lovely,and no smoke when running only the inital start up. fires first time every time too!
proper feel like im rabbitting on here but trying to put on as much as i can think of!!
so why spend thousands on a rotten defender,then get her off road ready spending thousands more when its all here ready to go!
