Land Rover Series 2a 1967

Sellers Comments - We purchased "Audrey" in 2010 as a project classic for me and my then teenage daughter to have some fun with. Sadly now she is in her second year at University and does not have time to spend, so after many adventures and good times, not to mention a small fortune, it is time to pass her on. I will list as many parts as I can remember starting with the first items replaced and working my way up yo date.. here goes.. Fuel tank, completely re-built front axle and steering balls, exhaust, A-panels, floor panels/lower bulk head (see pictures), rebuilt 2.5 petrol defender engine, clutch, both props, brakes all round including drums, alternator conversion, halogen headlamps, electronic ignition, starter motor, steering relay, front chassis repairs, five new wheels and all terrain tyres, respray in satin olive...pause for breath.. new shocks, track rod ends, internal usb sockets x 2 for sat nav etc, Range Rover Classic diffs plus loads of bits and bobs that I cant remember. She runs perfect and has never let me down, cruises with modern traffic, about 60mph all day, has modern seats with Land Rover covers and runs on parabolic springs. Now, she is 49 years old and like me is showing expected wear and tear and has been kept with safety, reliability and performance in mind. We have been to several club rallies, including a 400 mile weekend to Fakenham Race coarse last year for the annual club get together with no issues, that said she is an old classic so please know what you are about to own before you bid. She looks clean and presentable with minor dents, the internal roof has had a lining removed so shows glue etc and the cab is used by me and the dogs but still clean enough, needs a weekend spent tidying but has been like that for many years. Please ask as many question as you need and yes I do have loads of photos over the years if you would like any shots in particular. I have, as you can see, spent a small fortune but I can honestly say she's been worth every penny and we will all miss her. If I had proper off road storage she would not be for sale. Tax free, and only about £100 to insure with Lancaster who have given her an agreed valuation of £6500 so grab an absolute bargain of an appreciating usable 4x4 classic before I change my mind. Please only bid to buy and yes, you are welcome to come and take a look, good luck.
