The Land Rover Defender is an off-road vehicle produced under this name by the British manufacturer, Land Rover, since 1991. However, the vehicle is the direct heir of the first Land Rover that made its debut in 1948. The first prototype was built by the British automaker in 1947 and it was designed for the army. This iconic car was improved over the years and it has been known for generations as a national treasure.

Land Rover Series 3 109 Hard Top Tax Exempt 3L V6 Fairey Overdrive
Land Rover Series 3 109. Ex-MOD. Manufactured 1975. Tax Exempt. Registered as Historic Vehicle!
Owned for 6+ years. Selling due to need for something more suitable to drive longer distances!
Fresh MOT, required some welding to chassis. Has been done to a high standard and should not need more work for a while (see pictures).
Age related plate (no Q plate!).
Fully reconditioned (less than 1000 miles driven since) gearbox/transferbox/fairey overdrive, Slickshift fitted, all works by SyncroGearboxes. Receipt for works.
X-Eng disk brake hand brake conversion. Fitted at same time as box recondition by SyncroGearboxes.
Essex 3L V6 with hardened valve seats and Stage 1 heads by Specialised Engines
