The Land Rover Defender is an off-road vehicle produced under this name by the British manufacturer, Land Rover, since 1991. However, the vehicle is the direct heir of the first Land Rover that made its debut in 1948. The first prototype was built by the British automaker in 1947 and it was designed for the army. This iconic car was improved over the years and it has been known for generations as a national treasure.

Sellers Comments - Here we have another classic! A 1975 Land Rover 88" - 4 Cylinder Diesel. Its in the classic dark green, with a union jack on the side. It has the benches in the back rather than back seats and is showing just 49,000 miles. There are a few dents round the body and the interior needs a good clean but what do you expect for 41 years old! It is going to need repairs to the bulk head and possibly the chassis. The seats themselves only need a valet, there are no holes or anything to speak of. The car, including the engine looks to be complete apart from the battery which is missing. The previous owner states there was not anything wrong with it before it was put into storage. It was merely sold to us as part of a clear-out. As always no attempt has been made to start the car.
