1979 land rover series 3, 21/4 petrol station wagon with bearmach toro overdrive
M.O.T until 25th October 2015
originally diesel but converted to petrol by a previous owner engine good and still has excellent compression
used regularly
the chassis and bulkhead are in good condition
the chassis has some minor surface rust showing just needs a coat of chassis paint but still solid and would fly through an mot
gearbox worn but still ok
the bodywork is in good condition for age with only a few minor dents and scratches, the vehicle was hand painted appx 18 months ago but looks ok.
I have owned this land rover over 3 years and during my ownership has had and extensive body off rebuild with many new parts that include:

- new powerspark electronic distributor apprx 3 months ago
- galvanised series 2 front panel with headlights operated via relays from the main headlights
- radiator muff
- dash operated rear spot lights
- 4 nearly new event 205/80/16 tyres and very good hankook atm 205/16 spare
- rear door step
- recently rebuilt and upgraded brakes all round
- 11" front brakes with new bearmach drums, Delphi cylinders and mintex shoes
- 10" rear brakes with new bearmach drums, shoes and Delphi cylinders
- new master cylinder
