Sellers Comments - Land Rover Series 2 1958 This is number 313 off the production line so could possibly be the earliest series 2 in existence. I bought this with the intention of restoring it to its former glory. However my misses has decided to put a stop to that with the announcement of another baby, cheers! I have never had it running but the engine does turn over and the gear lever moves between the gears. The clutch and brake pedals are seized but it does roll freely. Bulkhead has rusted, mainly around the door hinges. Chassis has rusted all over. Bodywork looks fairly straight, paintwork is tatty. The number plate has been valued at £1,200 This was to be my first Land Rover project so although I'm no expert I will do my best to answer any questions. Please feel free to contact me via email or phone to arrange a viewing.

The Land Rover Defender is an off-road vehicle produced under this name by the British manufacturer, Land Rover, since 1991. However, the vehicle is the direct heir of the first Land Rover that made its debut in 1948. The first prototype was built by the British automaker in 1947 and it was designed for the army. This iconic car was improved over the years and it has been known for generations as a national treasure.
