Sellers Comments - Land Rover Series 3 Diesel I bought this Land Rover Series 3 as a restoration project but have unfortunately never got round to doing anything with it, as I currently have other projects that need finishing. It shows the Land Rover being a petrol but it has had an early diesel engine fitted, unsure if it runs as I have never tried to get it running, the chassis of the Land Rover is in excellent condition with no visible rust and has been painted by the previous owner. The bodywork is in bad condition but panels may be salvaged, the bulkhead is one of the better parts of the Land Rover and in my opinion is excellent with no rot, this alone must be worth £250.00. Land Rover is tax exempt. Unsure of colour of the Land Rover as it's a mixture of colours, as the previous owner has messed about with it, but the colour on the logbook states blue/yellow. The Land Rover is sold as seen, requires a lot of time spent on it and in my opinion would be better as spares. Land Rover is located approx 5 miles from York, collection only. Can assist with loading.

The Land Rover Defender is an off-road vehicle produced under this name by the British manufacturer, Land Rover, since 1991. However, the vehicle is the direct heir of the first Land Rover that made its debut in 1948. The first prototype was built by the British automaker in 1947 and it was designed for the army. This iconic car was improved over the years and it has been known for generations as a national treasure.
