Land Rover Series 1 86" 1953 First registered on 16/11/1953, so an early 86 inch. Tax and MOT free, so insurance is all you need. Its a great runner and has been enjoyable to go around in when the sun has been out. It was originally green, which can be seen in places, but it was then painted blue (along time ago) by a previous owner. The V5 states blue. It seems to have the original engine and runner gear, but I cannot guarantee this. There are patches to the chassis, cross member and foot wells/bulkhead, as you'd expect at 62 years old! New canvas top fitted a few months ago, but I left it in a shed for a while after exmoor trim posted it and a mouse got the taste for it and chewed a small hole in the roof, as pictured. Nothing drastic or visible from standing next to it as it is on the top of the roof. Door tops are present and fit fine, they are just off at the moment as the weather is good. Spare wheel also comes with the landy, it bolts on the bonnet but I have removed it whilst driving about as it gets in the way.
