Here we have a barn find 1976 Land Rover 2 and a quarter petrol for sale. As you can see from the pictures it is in need of some work and tlc. The previous owner purchased the car as a project in October 2000 and put it at the back of his garage and left it there. The engine was apparently running last year and rolled backwards and forwards to keep the brakes free. It did roll off the trailer when we recovered it here. The brake master cylinder is not fitted as it is in the back of the vehicle, there is also a couple of spare exhaust parts. As you can see from the pictures, the rear cross member is corroded, but these can be replaced easy enough. The interior floor seems solid enough as it has had welding on the floor done. The chequer plating is in a good condition as is the wheels, the tyres all have good treads on them. The roof has been converted to a soft top at some time in its life but do not know when. This will make an ideal Land Rover if someone is willing to give it the love it needs.
