The Land Rover Defender is an off-road vehicle produced under this name by the British manufacturer, Land Rover, since 1991. However, the vehicle is the direct heir of the first Land Rover that made its debut in 1948. The first prototype was built by the British automaker in 1947 and it was designed for the army. This iconic car was improved over the years and it has been known for generations as a national treasure.

Land Rover Defender 90 300 Tdi County 1998 One of the last 300's 98,000 mile
Sellers Comments - I have been involved with Land Rovers for some 35 years or so and I have to say that this is an absolute gem, a definite keeper and one of the best 300 Tdis I've driven. The chassis, bulkhead and rear cross member are all rock solid. The bodywork is excellent with only very minimal age related marks and the interior is near spotless. But the best thing about this particular Defender is the way that it drives. You will not find one that drives and handles any better. It has been very well maintained from new and is mostly Land Rover serviced. I have decided that if this doesn't sell for some reason, I'm going to keep it. 300 Tdi Defenders this good are extremely hard to find and are rising in value.
