Sellers Comments - Land Rover Defender 90 – 2.5 TDi Diesel 1984 (B) I am selling this Land Rover on behalf of my dad who is based in Southport. Collection could be arranged from either Chorley or Southport. The 2.5 TDi Engine is in very good condition with only a slight oil leak; the engine was installed in 2007 with only 68,000 miles on the engine's clock, current mileage shows as 123,484 miles. At the same time as the engine install, a new clutch and powered steering were installed along with a respray. The vehicle has always kept in a garage and it is used almost every day going to the golf course and back, hence only 20,000 miles accumulated in the last ten years. Please note the following:- The spot lights are not wired up, the spare wheel is not the same as the rest and the third seat can either be a seat or a cubby box (please see images). The Land Rover Defender is an off-road vehicle produced under this name by the British manufacturer, Land Rover, since 1991. However, the vehicle is the direct heir of the first Land Rover that made its debut in 1948. The first prototype was built by the British automaker in 1947 and it was designed for the army. This iconic car was improved over the years and it has been known for generations as a national treasure.
