Afternoon,
For sale is my very early Land Rover Series 3 Station Wagon which was first registered to
"The Rover Co. Ltd; Meteor Works, Solihull" on 08-Feb-1972 and it remained with the original company until 13-Oct-1977.
I purchased the Landy on 04-May-2010 from a specialist Land Rover Restoration company where I paid for a refurbishment, which in summary was:
- A strip down
- New Galvanised Chassis
- Axles cleaned & re-painted
- New springs & shock absorbers
- New braking system
- External re-spray in original colour
- New Wiring Loom
- Stainless Steel Exhaust
- New Fuel Tank
- New Radiator
- New Timing Chain
- Head skimmed with hardened valve seats to rum on unleaded petrol
- Re-furbished Fairy Overdrive added
The Landy came with a good "History File" with MOT's going back to 1983, with a large volume of service receipts and I have kept this file going and it comes with the Landy.
Reason for sale, I am using the vechilcle less and less.
I trust that the above assists.
Thanks,
