For Sale is my 1972' Land Rover Series 3 88" SWB.
Fitted with a 2.25 Diesel engine which runs very sweetly.
The Land Rover has no Current MoT and will require and estimated £100 worth of Welding to Pass.
The Chassis as a whole is in reasonable order however it will want a couple of small patches for the MoT-Easy enough to do.
The bulkhead is in good condition and won't require any immediate work as far as I can see.
The 2.25 Diesel Engine starts readily and runs sweetly.
The original 4-Speed Gearbox selects nicely and the 'Fairey Overdrive' works well.
It also benefits from freewheeling hubs for a little extra MPG.
The brakes work well and should pass the MoT easily.
The Electrics all work fine, It may want a bulb replacing here and there which I'll try and get around to.
The Interior is quite tidy and is fitted with two Volvo front seats for added comfort and 2 rear bench seats [So it seats 6]
The Land Rover Drives well for it's age and the 2.25 diesel pulls surprisingly well!
Overall a very easy DIY project which will require less than a weekends work.
From what I can see all it will need for the MoT is a couple of patches on the Chassis [Estimated around £100]
It's got a lovely patina for an old Land Rover.
