The Land Rover Defender is an off-road vehicle produced under this name by the British manufacturer, Land Rover, since 1991. However, the vehicle is the direct heir of the first Land Rover that made its debut in 1948. The first prototype was built by the British automaker in 1947 and it was designed for the army. This iconic car was improved over the years and it has been known for generations as a national treasure.

Land Rover 90 V8 EFI Gas conversion
Sellers Comments - Land Rover 90 V8 3.5 EFI with Lucas gas conversion. Unfortunately it has become time to sell the much loved Landy due to having too not using it enough, it only cover 350 miles between MOT's and also having a baby on the way. It is a 1984 with 106,000m on the clocK please note the registration was a private plate put on by the previous owners should be on a B plate . It is an original v8 although the carburettor engine was replace when the gas was fitted. I have owned the 90 for 4 years now and in that time I have replace the suspension, fitted AT tyres and had the ignition overhauled, and tuned. It's also had a new larger battery and new positive and earth wires fitted. I brought it as a bit of a project having always wanted a landy. The engine had received an overhaul shortly before I brought it ( head gaskets etc where done, and I have all the receipts for this) It has also been fortunate enough to have had a chassis replacement in the past I think it was about 10 years ago again have a receipt somewhere. I took the old girl for an MOT in June and as always passed with very little effort. It only had to have new track rod ends. The only thing that really lets it down is the paint. Ideally it could do with a respray and a wax oil. Please look at the pictures they should give a good indication to the condition which is very original for its age. There is also a picture showing some of the spares that come with it. It is 33 years old and therefore a classic so unfortunately I cant offer any warranty in anyway shape or form. so will be sold as seen. viewing is welcome, and I'm sure the first to view will want to buy it's one of the most genuine Land Rover 90's on the road. It's ready for work, play or pleasure and I will genuinely be sad to see it go. if you have any questions please get in contact and viewing can be arranged. I reserve the right to remove at anytime as it is advertised elsewhere and cash on collections or cleared funds before collection. Happy bidding
