The Land Rover Defender is an off-road vehicle produced under this name by the British manufacturer, Land Rover, since 1991. However, the vehicle is the direct heir of the first Land Rover that made its debut in 1948. The first prototype was built by the British automaker in 1947 and it was designed for the army. This iconic car was improved over the years and it has been known for generations as a national treasure.

Landrover Series 1 Ride On Childs Little Landrover
Sellers Comments Bespoke one off Childs ride on little Landrover. Fully handcrafted wooden body built on traditional style retro ride on mower chassis floor pan. Powered by 5hp petrol engine. Currently running, belt driven, large wheels and tyres. Built to hi spec, opening rear lower tailgate, lift up metal bonnet. Steers well, engine up and running has been mobile and drives. Requires belt and rear axle service. All chassis mechanical parts/steering are there, everything is connected. Belt required to drive. Unfinished project, structually and body work all complete. Requires prep, paintwork and interior trimming. Windscreen frame fitted and secure no glass. In all a very easy project, very little work needed. Fabulous rally exhibit. Measurements are:- 6ft long stands tall 26 inches (66cm) - without window frame across/deep 34inches (86 cm) Sold as ongoing project and can be seen running.
