2006 TD5 Land Rover Defender
Mot Feb 2020
EXTERIOR - Great looking Land Rover as I've always wanted to keep it authentic looking. 5x 16" boost alloys, all in great condition. 2x Continental tyres on the front axle, fitted around 95,000 miles. 2x Cooper Discoverer tyres on the rear axle, fitted around 70,000 miles. One full-spare on the back - General Grabber. Direct 4x4 Troop 1 roof rack installed, which is meshed and much better at carrying than the Official Land Rover roof rack. Direct 4x4 pull out awning, which is super useful when camping. Official Land Rover A-frame on the front. Spotlights which are wired to full-beam (with on/off switch on the centre console). Checker plated side steps.
INTERIOR - immaculate condition. 4 seats in the rear, all individually foldable. Air conditioning unit - great in the summer and a rare find. Ungraded speakers (official Land Rover ones are rubbish). Bluetooth enabled car stereo, radio, CD player. Centre cubby box. Leather steering wheel. 5-speed gearbox.
The Land Rover Defender is an off-road vehicle produced under this name by the British manufacturer, Land Rover, since 1991. However, the vehicle is the direct heir of the first Land Rover that made its debut in 1948. The first prototype was built by the British automaker in 1947 and it was designed for the army. This iconic car was improved over the years and it has been known for generations as a national treasure.
