The Land Rover Defender is an off-road vehicle produced under this name by the British manufacturer, Land Rover, since 1991. However, the vehicle is the direct heir of the first Land Rover that made its debut in 1948. The first prototype was built by the British automaker in 1947 and it was designed for the army. This iconic car was improved over the years and it has been known for generations as a national treasure.

this is a great project all welding has been undertaken that I can see.
it has new footwells and has had plates neatly welded on chassis and a new cross member at some point.
the land rover has stood out under a sheet for about 6 months since loosing its shed space engine turns freely haven't tried starting.
the panels are only loosely fitted for transport.
great project with all hard welding work done
unfortunately it was lifted under the front end with a forklift when I had to move it in a hurry and I bent the track rod this hasn't been fixed yet.but I should have a replacement to include.
an appreciating classic and sound investment.
I belive it is now tax exempt under the new rules.
